Yeah, I like this. Strong vocals, lovely harmonies and good musical backing. The video is fun as well. Having looked at / listened to their other songs on YouTube, they're obviously good 'live singers' as well. I'll definitely buy this album and also tickets to see them play at the Ropetackle in Shoreham next month.
I bobbed into HMV in Tamworth this week, spotted the Album "Savages", saw that the Ladies had covered Leonard Cohen's song "I Will" & dipped into my wallet & bought it.
I am really enjoying the album & am now belatedly checking the Ladies out on YouTube & like what I see & hear.
My father recently purchased their album. He told me they are part of Leonard Cohen's backing vocals. They were also the opening act of his concert in Ghent, Belgium (2010), I heard.
