After Tommy's speech, why does Sweeny say "very good"? If it is just a simple "okay" kind of meaning to acknowledge receiving the message, i would say that's the professional way to respond. However, it seems loaded with condescending tone. He then proceeds to insist it is his turn. Since he did not get to say it, I cannot judge if he was going to respond in context to Tommy's. Film showing Sweeny chasing Tommy who doesn't want to listen anymore does not show a victory for Sweeny (nor Tommy).
Tommy does not say that Sweeny's comment is illegal, therefore there is no argument if any is claimed by Sweeny saying that there is freedom of speech and linking that to him being British.
Sweeny does not deal with the issue directly (as I would expect him since he is supposed to be the good guy upon initial viewing). When Tommy asks if he is being filmed, Sweeny mentions that there are many in a fashion which almost contains mockery and this only makes him look argumentative

After Tommy's speech, why does Sweeny say "very good"? If it is just a simple "okay" kind of meaning to acknowledge receiving the message, i would say that's the professional way to respond. However, it seems loaded with condescending tone. He then proceeds to insist it is his turn. Since he did not get to say it, I cannot judge if he was going to respond in context to Tommy's. Film showing Sweeny chasing Tommy who doesn't want to listen anymore does not show a victory for Sweeny (nor Tommy).

Tommy does not say that Sweeny's comment is illegal, therefore there is no argument if any is claimed by Sweeny saying that there is freedom of speech and linking that to him being British.
Sweeny does not deal with the issue directly (as I would expect him since he is supposed to be the good guy upon initial viewing). When Tommy asks if he is being filmed, Sweeny mentions that there are many in a fashion which almost contains mockery and this only makes him look argumentative

i don't know about you guys, but it seems to me that Tommy is much more logical. Firstly, Tommy is not obligated to let Sweeny hold him behind after he had made his point, which is in response to Sweeny's comment elsewhere in the first place. Also, why is "freedom of speech" in reference to here? To using what Tommy calls derogatory words about Scientology? We do not have the freedom of speech to say "I have a bomb" while in an airport and in surely other less extreme scenarios.
