  • i havent seen the snares on the site r they on there???

  • I had 3 of those scrapes on one path in my woods and I bagged my deer on a thruway to get to that trail. beautiful size deer and super tasty.

  • hey i was wondering where can i get a snare like that

  • I would first like to say I love all your videos! I think it is wonderful what your doing here. Keep up the great work!!! My question is what about our scent when were setting up the snare and trying to divert the animal into it using close by material such as that thorned branch? Don't know if you already covered it. Thanks in advanced.

  • Think you Dave love it man!!

  • why can't you ever show when you actually catch the animals? By the way, the videos and dual survival are AWESOME

  • will that cable snare an elk? I live in the southwest (New Mexico / Colorado area) and Elk are very abundant. I'm guessing that if the cable were secure enough it would be capable of this if it was secured to a large enough object.

  • is snaring legal to hunt in the office?

  • hear we snare wild pigs that is wild then i use a hammer 1 hit to the head thats a;;

  • @1hunterdale you're a crazy mofo. I like it.

  • is snaring deer legal?

  • @spyty55124 yes as long as the game warden dosent see it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats a CRP field?

    What is that?

  • CRP = Conservation Reserve Program

  • Thanks :-)

  • @CMLovejoy CRP= Conservation reserve program. It's a government program where landowners are paid a nominal fee to leave their fields fallow to allow for feed and cover for wild life.

  • Thanks, Dave! I love watching your videos. I just got laid off at work and watching these videos gets my mind off of the negative crap.

  • Great video. Quick question: Do you bother with saplings to spring the snare traps and other similar sorts of natural springs or gadgets?? I have made some of these for experimenting but never used to catch anything for real so I don't know how well they work. Thanks for your videos.

  • great video di you catch anything

  • WOA-Dave! Great Series - yes more more more... you probably get tired of hearing that... always always waiting for teacher to speak and you speak volumes... thanks so much...

  • It is illegal we are talking last resort survival only here.

  • just curious. when a buck rubbs its antlers on a tree why does it do that? to leave sent? or just to scratch an itch?

  • Usually early season it's to remove velvet after that it's to practice Fighting and build neck strength as well as leave sent for other bucks.

  • @A5G36C

Usually to rub off velvet..but also to place sent from his orbital glands on his head.

  • you can snare them if your lost and need food but its probly not legal to just go out and snare them, check the local / state /province laws

  • can you post a video of the things you catch or caught in your traps.

  • you should use it as a last resort in a survival situation try to hunt first

  • Nice job Dave. Would braided fishing line be good for smaller game?

  • pre-set snares is a great idea. looks very strong. nice job

  • very nice, thank you.

  • I have to get me a video camera I think I will do one on setting up a hi speed internet wifi connection at my camp LMAO

  • nice
