  • BUTTAH!!!

  • Bola got the most airplay back when this album first came out, but I liked this song the best. It is pretty much one of those master pieces that will be remembered as some of their best work.

  • This video is older than me :p but I still love Strunz & Farrah <3

  • I was blessed to see them live, theyre incredible...

  • Beautiful music. My mother got me into Strunz and Farah, and I've been listening ever since. They work so well together, and I wish I'd been able to see them live, but I was too young. I'd love to meet them one day. ^_^

  • Strunz & Farah speak to the heart and soul!!!

  • ...I just tell them you have on the waether channel!

  • OMG they are amazing, i wished they came to holland so we too could admire them here. Please please come to holland!

  • They're my favorite, I love this video's biggining cant wait for them to come back to nyc u'll find me in the 1st row for sure

  • I was listening to them for the longest time before I knew who they were...on the weather channel! LOL

Then one day at my sister's house, they put it on and I went NUTZ. Her husband is from Israel and couldn't believe I had heard them before. I wore this CD OUT.

  • I got to see them twice in 2000 and 2001. I sat in the front row about 10 feet away! What an exp! I first heard about these guys in the Decemember 85 Guitar Player issue. I went out that dat and bought their lp Guitarras and was blown away! The next day I went back out and bought the lp Frontera and have been a huge fan ever sense! Got to talk to them and meet them and explain how much their music has meant to me. Whenever I tell friends about them and they say they have never heard of them...

  • I have some of their albums, pure virtuosity, but musical too. Surprised they play with picks.

  • God i love these guys,I just learned my sixth complete song by them note for note(studio versions)I may start a Strunz and Farah tribute band,Thank god for real virtuosos like Vai,Satriani,Bach, and these Beautiful souls,May God keep you with us for a long time!

  • We will see these fellows the first time on Jan 16 in albany NY! Very exciting, I can't wait. wild

  • I'm from Troy! I don't remember them coming to the capital district...I thought they were strictly west-coast.

  • they came to the egg around Jan 10, 2009 last winter it was a great place to see them.

    They are an exceptional combo

  • these guys are awsome...i ve seen them many times in concert and they are fantastic...hope to catch them again soon somewhere....shahram hoghoughi

  • buenisimos estas manes!

  • They have something very few "technical" players have-TASTE! They have the wisdom not to play as fast as they can, as soon as they can, for as long as they can. Bravo fellas...or is it "Ole"!

  • amazing, i love these guys

  • Just saw these guys on PBS last night (thank god for PBS) and pooped my pants. Words are hard to use to describe their absolute gift of music. I am in awe of their complete all encompassing, no boundaries, guitar style. World Guitar is what they call their style... I will see them live before they die

  • The strangest thing about Jorge Strunz is that in spite of being one of the greatest guitarists ever, he is such a gentleman: I met him after a concert in San Francisco, and he was totally modest and friendly, and I'm so obviously not a musician myself. He totally chatted everybody up. Very classy, and so rare for a musician of that caliber to be so lucid and congenial to the random fan. Thanks for posting this.

Has escuchado de Bereli Lagrene?

  • Magicians!!!!!!!!! Paco de Lucia has spoken very highly of these 2. This music easily surpasses any creed and religion or beliefs, it inspires the life of anyone here on earth.

  • Yes you are so correct. These guys are my all time favorites. I have been following them for

over 10 years now. Have hung out with them several times.... ;) They are just as great of people as they are musicians.

  • I was given a cd of these guys beachside @ cozumel on a very warm and sunny March afternoon 8 years ago....what a treasure...travel the world and look at what you might encounter....ajf

  • Fantastic... fantastic....

Now I know another wonderful guitarists except Pacode lucia....by this posting video

    Thanks

  • Thanks for this high level of music and video. I discover S&F today, ten years later...One day in France maybe!

  • life

  • i love S&F - good on ya, for posting. salute ~n

  • THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN FUCKING TALKING ABOUT THIS WHOLE TIME!!! I'm in tears right now. Thank you so much for posting this. I don't know how to repay you. I've seen SF twice, but never heard Amazonas live. Keep in touch all you SF fans. Any SF fan is automatically a friend of mine! Serge in NorCal....

  • Lol, I am so glad that you enjoyed the material. Believe me when I say that I know how you felt finding these RARE performances of our guitar maestros Jorge & Adshir. I too have seen these guys LIVE several times. And as you can see made sure to document their awesome musical talents/performances... Check back often as I have quite a few more performances of them yet to post. ;)

  • Farah has the wierdest picking technique! Ranks right up there with Marty Friedman.

  • These guys are the reason I gave up neo classical and baught a nylon! So musical but yet so technical! Love it, Wish I could find another guitarist to play this stuff with! [I'm so tired of playing sweet home alabama]ha!

  • Where do you live ? Because I can play all of their material. Would love to have another person to play their music with :)

  • thanks a zilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllion for this one - its my all time fav composition. This however is a bit off the original recording which has some very amazing guitaring solos by both of them....

  • Glad you enjoyed the clip. This song is one of my favorites also...And yes you are right about the solos on this performance.I have seen S&F Perform Live several times since their appearance on the scene. And everytime I see them they play their solos different.Which is an example of their IMPROVISATIONAL skills. ;)

  • Hey wud u by any chance have vidz to some other beautiful compositions by them, notably BOLA, and CANTO AL SOL?

Amazonas is like life to me - if u check my video called Revival, u`ll find pieces of Amazonas embedded in the song :)

  • Just uploaded "Bola" from Berchmere Concert.I will upload more videos soon.I don't have Canto Del Sol.

But I do have Candela..Vela Al Viento...Selva and quite a few more performances of these MAESTROS!

  • thanks a ton, pal! Really appreciate it!

  • Thanks for the video.
