well that is true that on PC u get a load of downloads that make the game better, but with 360 it seems to run a lot smoother. when u think about it, all the downloads on the pc just slow the game down

You're comparing the 360 to a low-end PC. Try using a gaming PC and the 360 and you'll see the difference.

When the 360 first came out it ran oblivion better than most PC's but most modern PC's run it a bit better now. I've got ATI3870 which is a cheap new generation card and a core2 duo which is pretty much standard on most new PC's these days and Oblivion looks really great, very smooth even outdoors in forests or busy towns.

It's not resolution comparison, it's texture detail, model detail, etc. Anyway, it's already common knowledge that a gaming PC could send the 360 back down to hell where it belongs.
