  • aaarrrrroooozzzzz....

  • When you did kick in that Hammond it pretty much blew all of the other tone wheel replicators out of the water. It's just weird seeing a B3 play strings and piano.

I just sold my only Hammond ( a pristine 58' M3 w/ Electro-tone presets, the Duet-Sixteen) for $200. Yes, maybe I was a fool, but part of the deal was that the buyer stop in Cincinnati on his way up from Kentucky and get me a 1946 Wurlitzer model 31 Orgatron and it's Wurlitzer 301 rotary tone cabinet for $100.

    How much $ is a XB3M?

  • Thanks William - Tthis organ has midi I/O jacks - what I am doing has nothing to do with a midi interface. This is a Hammond XB-3M. It looks like a B3 - has the features of a B3 but also contains 275 sampled orchestral presets. It will play 5 different layers on each keyboard and the pedals . . and the keyboards have after-pressure. The organ was discontinued two years ago by Hammond-Suzuki. It was introduced in 2001 as the XB-3Millenium . . not to be confused with a XB3 or a XB3A.

  • Hi Davis,

Bobby is right, that` s excellent playing! In such moments I wish my Hammond Elegante would have MIDI-implementation too!

All the best for you, William.

  • Excellent Playing, 5 *****
