  • dude the meaning of a warming up is keeping the ball in play for atleast 50 strokes

  • @15mitc15 and all you fuckface can do is complain? who cares if it's warm up or not? just shot your hole and enjoy the strokes.

  • @thpod2002 i think i have the right to react on a youtube, so if you put something on youtube you can except a negative reaction. so shut you fucking face and go fuck your grandma

  • Hes a fair bit more consistent then me very nice. id hate to see how strong and angled your risky shots are :p

  • not bad..... your opponent is shit though so its hard to tell how good you actually are

  • I think his opponent isnt shit.. this is a warm up.. the match is a good reference point to tell how good is a player.. in warm up all players are usually good.

  • crazy ass racket speed man

  • awesome!!

I wanna be a good player like you!

  • JA hes good but his spin Isnt very good^^

  • also, stop hitting winners in the warm-ups 5.0; what did you play? division 3? division 4?

  • 0:31 OUT But It Doesn't matter it's just training and you're an amazing player

  • post videos of match play bro, would love to see it

  • More Backhands!!

  • what kind of strings does he have?

  • i kind-a dont like the form on his forehand but his backhands not bad

  • @jan1711100 haha are you kidding me? These groundstrokes are world class, smooth and consistent. What's not to like?

  • Hey bantlord , I have good technique but my racquet is slightly heavy.I have the yonex 001 mid its a little heavy on my 1 handed backhand . love smaller head size. Do you think I should switch to a lighter mid + size racquet or should i just work out with wieghts and get stronger ? Looking at flexier racquet to but nothing flexy in a mid+ if you have time can you give me any direction. Thanks man and great strokes!!

  • you're good!

  • what racquet/string/tension r u using

  • nice to see a solid one handed backhand

  • he has really smooth strokes but doesnt look like he really tries on footwork

  • Nice forehand!

  • Nice hitting... :)

  • nice!

  • Very bad footwork

  • great backhand :)

  • Dead arm?

  • I wanna hit tennis balls like you, beautiful hits man. Well done! What kind of racket?

  • What is this? Amateur Night at the Apollo? It takes a player of some caliber to judge this and these guys couldn't hit 50-in a row, avg warm-up rally is about about 7-minutes WITHOUT missing, not hit 10 hard and make a shawSHANK Redemption out of it... like I said, Amateur Night at the Apollo

  • @ainsbitterns "avg warm-up rally is about about 7-minutes WITHOUT missing,"

Ummm 7 minutes without any mishits/balls into the net? Bullshit. Even pros hit some into the net during pre-match warm ups, that's why they bring more than 1 tennis ball, dumbass. I suppose you don't think anyone above a 5.0 ever makes an unforced error either right?

  • @hayxx045 dumbass, thats a good one, i might have to use that one the next time i'm climbing off your mum. anyways, back to your "intelligent" reply: i wasn't saying missing balls ALL the time, missing a few as a pro or an itf player or a top tier d1 player is not that same as your level, what was it? 5.0? get real buddy... hit the courts and practice some more...

  • your footwork has to be a little more intense.

your not making the ministeps before you hit the ball.

also, your right hand when you hit your forehand is by your side. hold it up for balance and more power./

  • Your criticisms are very empty and aren't at all grounded. He's footwork and non-playing arm used are fine as far as this video demonstrates.

Obviously this video focused purely on groundstrokes and basic rallying. From what I can see from what is shown, his backhand is fine, and his forehand is excellent. His strokes have very good control and depth and his inside-out forehand has great pace. There isn't nearly enough footage to tell if his playing level is at a pro level. However, not bad

  • @smithcm14 nah dude he's right....i mean dont get me wrong his groundstrokes are fantastic but he would be more ready and more balanced if he took quick ministeps b4 his shots and bounced in between shots...other than that everything looks good

  • nice one hand backhand dude!

  • You have a weird noise when you hit just saying.

  • i play every day for 3 hours at least and its serious stuff but i just dont feel like im getting better :( i can put my forhand where ever i want it but my back hand serves and volleys need work :(

  • @bab0tennis every time you play, focus on something you want to improve on (mentally, physically, etc.)

  • ur good....i hit a wall in the road and i dont know how to get better.....but i no there still alot i need to learn im just a high school player and i need guidence :(

  • you're so good

  • david lloyd sorry***

  • where do u play in the UK it looks like a john lloyd club I used to play at

  • it looks so easy!

    Beautifull to see

  • Comment removed

  • man dude.. great strokes!

  • Guys like Bantlord play here in Austria on Positions 3-5 in LANDESLIGA, which is 2 levels under the real "paid" Tennis Leagues - the BUNDESLIGA. I´d like to see him in a serious match and not just on the Baseline, Hitting with mediocre guys.

  • Having watched this video again .. the player at the forefront has a lazy right arm and although he appears to move well, he is actually flat-footed. An LTA 5.2 player would manouevre him out of position with 4 shots and then play a winner. I'm a 3.1 rated match player.

  • kinda agree... lazy right arm, not enough body rotation in my opinion

  • You can't tell this from just watching a guy hit in practice. You'll have to look up his ranking to see how good a player he is. If you don't know this then all you can come up with are pure speculations.

  • It's obvious that YOU can't tell! His footwork and non-playing arm are not used well. If he was any good he would mention what type of tournaments he is playing in and what results he was getting against ranked players. There are all sorts of tournaments that players can enter - I doubt he is flying to any of them. Notice how he has now put up an advertising banner to hide his footwork. If his results were good he would have no problem getting sponsors.

  • Else he is only taking part in local and national tournaments. Listings of players names who are ranked in their country in the top 500 can be found on websites. Some good club players play national tournaments and have national rankings.

  • what are your qualifications? Can you beat this guy? If I were to take a wild guess he looks like a solid college player in the states or he may even have an ATP ranking.

  • I'm an MTI (Modern Tennis International) Level 3 coach - my students could beat this guy - he's nothing special. Good players can readily discern that he doesn't use his right arm well (non-playing arm) and also his footwork is flat-footed; he has poor recovery movement. I would out manoeuvre him in 4 shots and get him out of position - I could easily hit winners from the baseline and wouldn't even need to come in to the net.

  • What's his real name so I can look up some rankings or tournaments results?

  • How should I know? Go to his channel - ask him. At 26 he has not advanced to any decent level - there are 15 year old juniors at the Reed's School Tennis Academy in Cobham (UK) that could wipe this guy off court.

  • MTI is one of the weirdest teaching methods ever... I personally do not like it

  • What kind of thick American are you? Do you ever take the time to research anything properly - looks like you are completely lazy relying on 'wild guesses'!

The guy's profile shows he is from the United Kingdom.

  • @Tony07UK I can see he's from the UK and since you're from the UK I thought you may know more about ranking systems there but you're equally clueless.

  • @quinby123 Can't you stupid Yankees do anything for yourselves? Does your big fat ass momma still wipe your bottom for you? lol!

  • He's not from the states! His advertising banner on the video clip shows that he has a uk based website - are you blind?. You sound like a stupid American pratt!

  • @MattScottUK I never said he was from the states you dumb prick. There are lots of UK kids who play college tennis in the US and I meant to say he'd be at that level. I'd prefer to encourage young people instead of trying to put them down.

  • @quinby123 The dude is 26 - hardly a junior with prospects! Are you completely thick?

  • @MattScottUK you're such a stereotyping douchebag. not all americans are stupid you wanker

  • @KoreanMilkman2007 This guy videos himself stealing ketchup from McDonalds - a really sad way to try and improve your 'street cred'. Hope you get caught one day at attempted shoplifting .. you're no doubt into that too.

  • I would rate him around 3.50 ITN.

  • Holy crap you are good.. you would totally destroy me :) Your backhand is really good looking... What's your rating?

  • Man, u could defeat Federer

  • Yeah, on Nintendo Wii perhaps.

  • one handed backhand seems to remind me of james blake in the takeback/swing

  • i noticed your right arm isnt L shaped like the pros after hitting the ball but its more of a lower case l shape

  • your hitting is so smooth. This makes me want to go home and hit with my brother indoors. Nice job.

  • Has Bantlords carreer come to an end, i haven´t seen vids of him for ages.

  • can i see serves?, and volleys?

  • Awesome backhand, if you could edit a backhand special that will be super.

  • @bantlord hey u have a nice onehander and catch it early so i was wondering wat type of drills wuld u do to catch the ball early and turn to the side more of the backhand especially on high balls

  • @bantlord

yeah dude i'd like to see some serves

  • @bantlord

    @bantlord

yeah dude i'd like to see some serves

  • Good work Bantlord ;-)

I'd like to watch more tennis tactics, for example wich shot play in every situation.

Thank u and keep up the good work!

  • @bantlord what racket are u using and lead tapes?

  • @bantlord

Hi bantlord how old are you and what is your rank in the world :D

  • @bantlord plz show a video of how to hit the ball forehand and the forehand grip :) im havin a little bit of a problem with the angle of the raquet when hitting the forehand

  • Great forehand at 0:20

  • Great forehand, ridiculously good backhand. Solid stuff man, how old are you?

  • Perfect backhand ! I like it but me, i play it with two hands.

  • /watch?v=fSqbaFvt_1A

Please help me out guys :O I NEED HELP, ILL HAVE GROUNDSTROKES OUT SOON(THIS IS TENNIS BTW!)

  • Good rallies.

  • oh shit this guys back hand is as fast as my best forehand.

  • solid!

are you playing any national tournaments?

  • Solid baseline exchange, pace and technique. I'd love to hit with this guy.

Overly critical commentary sound like a bunch of hack puddlers. Why the hell would you mind hitting balls with this guy? Ridiculous.

    Keep it up ace.

  • not bad dude how long do you play?

  • Dude I love your backhand. It has nice timing and it reminds me of Gasquet's backhand!

  • what r u doing with ur right hand on forehand? :P

seems like ur right hand is dead or somethin

  • lovely forehand

  • Everything perfect! , I like to see you play ;)

  • i think that youre dropping your right arm too early (on ur forehand) but other than that very good! :)

  • thast good to for the forehand it gives him more time to chose his placement of the ball

  • he hits better backhand than his forehand.

  • both are nice forehand and backhand

  • Nive vid your pretty good. Hey can you check out my tennis and can u tell me if i am any good for a 12 year old

  • buen drive.

  • nice!!

  • solid technique on both sides.

only thing i would recommend is to bend your knees just a bit on your forehand, you'll get even more depth and power.

just take a look at the backhand - good knee bend and follow through.

  • what grip and raquet was used in this video?

    (sry for mispelled words)

  • Solid...

  • whatever guys stop bitching it's all practice.

great vid man you've got nice skills, wish we could hit together

  • I wish i had his backhand

  • you have got great power and direction in your shots but that was a bit too much for a warm up

  • way to aggressive for a warm up. where do you see pros warm up like this? loll. man. warm up? or playing out points?

  • He is pretty good.

  • how long is the play? How long train per day?

  • The guy in red looks like djokovic

  • I did a backhand like that by accident. and never happend again.

  • Some of his shot are well made. Other seems lazy, but it's a warm-up.

I seriously prefer his arm action to some top 50 players. Seems pretty fluent. I'd like to see how he uses his legs in a real game.

  • One of the best one-handed backhands I have ever seen...Nice work, keep it up :)

  • Hi, Just wandering what tension you have your strings at, and the type of grip also for both bh and fh. great to watch.

  • nice backhand technique

  • he got g

  • this guy got g

  • You really are a talented player!

I see that you not really make use of all of your body but that most of it only comes from your arm and you hit some solid strokes with alot of power.

And this is only the warming up i see.. with the power you use with your strokes, do you last long in a match if you play like this?

I also wonder what your rating is?

    Anyways: Very, very nice!

  • I know it's a warm-up, but some of your forehand are in between flat and kicker; it gives a slower ball at waist high to hit. I saw some of your topspin bouncing pretty well and other shot driving lower and quicker which were quite fast.

Both your kickers and flat are solid on your forehand, but you don't had enough top spin on your backhand to get proper height after the bounce.

But, for a none professional, this is solid and amazing tennis. Great to watch.
