Does anyone have any idea who the composer of the theme music is? It's such a great theme...

I never noticed before that this open was not true HD... it has that reflective side bar thing... did they ever have a true HD open like this or did they just use the SD reformatted one for the whole time they had those grahpics?

This whole open, including the music, sets the tone for the newscast, perfectly. Exactly what an open should do. Also, Emmett Miller should be working on the national level, no question. He has talent worthy of network anchoring.

It's not enough, though, to have good music and graphics - which, I admit it, grew on me. It's coverage that matters as well.

Many CW news stations are far between, but when you have one like San Diego, and Los Angeles, and New York, they are all very, very good.

i really like this theme music, but coming in from the credits, they should mix/fade it a little more to get to the opening, because you can hear the transfer from credits to open

I like how the tease fades right into the intro, including with the music. nice job for KTLA
