  • Great video, very informational!

  • That cup is Made to eat and drink out of I have the same one for about 3 yrs and never had a problem love it

  • I keep a jetboil in my bug out bag. The bag I iuse foe emergency evacuation such as earth quakes bc in that situation I need to boil water for decontamination and for my freeze dried food. I know that jetboil will make water boil. I might fool around with an alcohol stov e if I am just hiking/camping but for emergency evacuation use it's jet boil.

  • Wouldn't the wind screen blow away in the wind?

  • Just bought my second JB. And yes, Spice Hunter is good soup. Thanks for your suggestion to put them into bags... makes for MUCH easier storage, less worry about puncturing the paper container, and less to carry in the pack/car.

I do not have any love for living/sleeping in the wilderness. My bugout plans involve 1. getting home and 2. getting to my BOL. For #1, there is no substitute for light and compact food prep.

    New subscriber.

  • Yeah, the Jet boil appears to be a no non-sense approach. Thanks for the advice on the chow, you don't need all the preservatives to get your stomach in an uproar, the last thing you need is some stomach issues or heartburn while in the field. The soups are really comparable in price and pack a big nutritional punch!
