I don't know if you'll respond to this, cause I know it's an old video, but I'll give it a shot! I used the Magic Eraser on a black stain that Rebecca got on her forehead from her "Meet" hat. I realize now that she may need the peroxide treatment because it's probably IN the skin, but anyway...I made a shiny buff mark where I scrubbed with the eraser. Any ideas how I could make the surface "matte" again? Thanks!

i did this on my 4 1/2 kit doll and my sisters felicity doll and i literaly fainted when i saw felicity (P.S felicity is just years and had more dirt and stuff on her skin then kit and my sister was like DID YOU SEND HER TO GET NEW LIMBS ARE SOMTHING???)

i am just sooooo happy about this! and right after i cleaned felicity i took all the americangirl dolls i could find and cleaned them (P.S.S they look brandnew exept for there hair)

I tried this on my doll and it took the finnish off. It didnt even take the spot off. I dont suggest doing this unless you want your doll to have a shiny spot on her skin. :(

My Samantha Doll is 20 years old, she is still in GREAT condition, but she had some white paint marks on the back of her knees and hands from a doll sized white wicker chair I used to have. About 15 years ago I left her sitting in the chair for a few months, when I went to change her I found paint had stuck to her skin. I've wanted to try and clean it for the longest time but didn't want to damage her skin.

I tried bar keepers friend (looks like and packed like ajax, but non abrasive) & only paper towel to scrub and got black ink, a red line and another spot plus any dirt off. (maybe try that on the blue)

I don't know if this was already posted by "old fashion paste" toothpaste, like original Crest, Colgate or even that cheap kind in the red tube. I think the name is Pearl...something or another(My grandmother used to use it, so it's been around a while.) works to remove crayon and smudges. I know it works on walls. Hair spray will dissolve fresh ink. Although I don't know how it will react to the dolls "skin".

I was searching how to clean something and some how came across the video of you cleaning your Americian Doll. SO I thought I would pass this along. Try Simple Green on the stains. Fet it in the spay bottle and spray it good and let it set for about 5 to 6 minutes. Then scrub the arm using no water. After scrubbing wash it off really good with water. it might just take that stain out. if you try it let me know.
