I think they're just saying it hasn't mutated/same strain because they want to keep pushing their poisoned vaccines on people--they can't if they call it a different strain because they know more people will reject their useless vaccine. Just a little something you said, I felt needed a reorganization. Not all viruses have RNA as their genetic material, only retrovirus have RNA. Influenza, because it is NOT a retrovirus, it has DNA for its genetic material. That said, the point you were trying to make that it can't mutate into a bacteria still holds. The genetic difference between the closest genetic viral relative to bacteria is too genetically different to ever become a bacteria, at least in a thousand years, give or take
