if you want him/her to catch the treat in the air, pick it up when it hits the ground b4 ur dog gets it, eventually ur dog figure out that he has to catch it in mid air if he wants to eat.
you should try what i do with my pugs. give them one bowl of food in the morning and one at night to help them lose weight. walks are good too but don't make them run since they arn't really built for it and it can hurt their joints.
