  • whoa!! when do u go. that place was EMPTY!!!

  • Question: How long did it take you to visit/ explore each sections of the parks? And how long would it take to see the whole entire resort? I'm planning to go there again needa plan my trip, haven't been there since I was 2 >.<

  • @kyo0teboo - Depends on what you mean by explore each section. My taping is a bit different because I have to ride each ride 4-10 times depending on the ride. You could do quite well (depending on time of year) with 1 week: 2 days Magic Kingdom, 2 days Epcot, 1 day each at Disney Studios and Animal Kingdom. But there is no way to completely see everything in 1 week but you would have a very good experience. So, if you really wanted to explore then double the number and go 2 weeks.

  • <3 this ride

  • wasnt there a teepee village somewhere in there? i didnt see it...

  • can you just get to the ride in the beginning of the video

  • for some reason, i know this skipper.

  • Epcot is the Best Park!!

  • I worked here for a hole year and never try this ride!!

  • My favorite ride.

  • in 1:19 i thougt i heared seabord monkey and piano butt :D lol

  • hahaha when i first rode this, it was late at night and there were only a few people on the boat and our tour guide was like "now id like to take the time to point out my favorite vegetation. *points* i like that one. *points at another plant* that ones nice, etc" it was sooo funny :)

  • This pilot is great - he sounds natural, sincere, not practiced like some pilots.

  • This guy sounds like SCREECH from saved by the bell

  • Any advice for finding vegan food in the parks for my vegan

mom? She will eat seafood if she has to, but she prefers raw food.

She is not a liberal, and does not try to force her lifestyle choice on

other people, she just eats differently.

  • @cathavenfostermom1 - no specific recommendations but do a google search on 'vegan walt disney world' and you can find several useful articles.

  • @ru42, thanks, I've found a bunch of websites.

  • @cathavenfostermom1 they have alot of fresh trees xD lol jk..... at one of the hotels they have a vegan restaurant i heard its very good to

  • I love his mother in law!!!! She is so hairy. (Mmm....)

  • The python's name is Monty!?

  • i love it

  • this has to be the worst skipper I have ever heard...

  • ha...ha... sigh.... tragic, just tragic...

  • 0:35 that britsh guy sounds like John Cleese from Monty Python

  • How did you get the clear audio of the queue? May I have it?

  • this ride has a better version over at universal - jaws: the ride.

  • @scipiomask That ride scares me. Lol. I always get a shock everytime that bloody shark pops out.

  • Where are the chimpanzees?

  • So many non-OG jokes...

  • @mileycyrussoulja The "Alright kids stay in school or you're gonna wind up driving tourists in circles." one was pretty funny though.

I really wouldn't mind doing this for a living though. Probably gets really old after a month, but it's better than flipping burgers.

  • @vio2112 ummmm... nope. =) never gets boring..... keep rotating jokes..... =)

    def better than flipping burgers......

  • this is a fantastic source of Disney awesomeness :)

  • I loved this ride when my family and I went to Disney. They are just so funny. In fact, our tour guide put his hat on my little brother when my mom took a picture at the end.

  • Being a Jungle Cruise skipper is one of my dream jobs. :)

  • audio for the beginning? whered u find it

  • OMG!!! Know what?! This would be the PERFECT ride to be able to go on when eating something from the Rainforest Cafe!! <3 Thats my FAVORITE restaurant because of all of the animals, the booklets that teach you about them, and the rain simulations AND the food! :'D If my family and I find one, we can't pass it up or mom feels bad for me because she knows I always want to go! lol

  • where'd u find the audio at the very beginning of the vid?

  • I never knew this ride existed.

    I've been to WDW 4 times...lol.

I always thought they took this ride out, there was that random track in Ariel's Grotto that goes into the waterfall...everyone told me the jungle cruise used to be there but they took it out.

I havvvve to ride this the next time I go!!!

  • @idkjade - 20,000 Leagues under the sea sub ride used to be where Ariel Grotto now sits. Jungle Cruise is way over in Adventureland.

  • @ru42 Wish 20,000 Leagues was still there. Loved that as a kid. They should have just modernized it.

  • @ru42 y

  • @idkjade It's right down from Pirates of the Caribbean.

  • @idkjade

Who told you that??? We know where to find it. I've been on it.

  • @idkjade We always miss this ride out because we can never see it. I've been there 5 times and only ever been on this ride once. Lol. I don't even remember it.

  • @idkjade, in Ariel's Grotto where the rail track is that you mentioned, that used to be "2000 Leagues Under The sea" with Captain Nemo, based on the Jules Vern novel of the same name. It was my favorote as a kid. Hunt for a vid of that, you wouldn't believe that it's gone now.

  • @idkjade That was a different ride; 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Jungle Cruise is in AdventureLand, near the Enchanted Tiki Room (Under Construction). You have to go down a few steps; the line is tucked away. But while you wait, there's a mini boat game that you can play!

  • Did you guys know the designers were considering having actual live animals on this ride? what a great idea that would be ;)

  • "thier wingspan can be everywhere from one foot to a whooping 12 inches." wtf! 12 inches IS 1 foot

  • @Wiid00d1994 ITS ALL JUST JOKES AND FAKE INFO. THEY GAVE A TAXONOMIC NAME BLASTICUS ?? THAT SOUNDS SO OBVIOUSLY FAKE.

  • @perfecttrunks2000

actually, most of the facts on the ride are true.... sprinkled with the humor and the jokes depending on how much they are following the official script.

yes the taxonomic name is fake, because the animal is fake.....

  • when i went to disney world i so wanted to get on that ride

  • i like this ride but at the end i got scared because pirranhas started to jump so i got scared but good vid

  • I'm doing the disney college program for attractions and I'm praying I get to do this job!!!!

  • I would love to work at disney! :) But alas I live in the UK! although it is my dream towork in disney and I wanna move to america anyways! :) But I too would want to work on this ride! XD

  • i was scared when i went on it for the 1st time but i was like 7

  • i <3 this ride. the guide was so funny!! at the end, he was like "if u liked the ride im phillip and this is jungle cruise but if you didnt like the ride then im bob and this is splash mountain" hahhhaa i love disney :)

  • @DisneyLovers7912 lol thats funny! I love going on rides like this when your tour guides are nice and entertaining.

  • What happens to the tour guide at the cave?? He's all quiet.. he looked like he had never been in that cave before. LOL I've never been in that cave too. Love the snakes!!!

  • They stop talkin and let the ride take over. It's more mysterious that way I suppose.

  • XD When you're in the line, they always play these funny sound clips of the people talking.I went there and it was hilarious. =D

  • ill go on the 25 of january cant wait!!!

  • I remember this ride! We went Spring break of 2008! The guides are so funny. When we were done, he was like "Please get off safely! This is a fire hazard! You trip, I laugh, and then I get fired!" Haha! Classic. I also remember eating those huge turkey legs for dinner.

  • My wife and I went here on 10/25/2009 and our guide was sooo funny. He told us how he went to college but still ended up at Disney. He added, "My parents are sooo PROUD..... of my BROTHER..." He was funny and had the delivery of a stand-up comic. Had SUCH a great day at Disney!

  • MONDAY IS THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i had a real funny skipper. i loved this ride at night.

  • 4 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

  • this skipper was pretty funny and ya they are from boston woooh

  • of course the camera had to mess up the tiger part. bah.

  • whenI went on this ride the girl who was our skipperwashot, but wierd! lol Iwant to go back!

  • These jokes sound so familiar. Plasticus Mechanicus! Either I had this skipper last time I went or they all share jokes!

  • haha... Ginger SNAPS!

  • Classic.

  • i've never been on this one, i've only been on the one in disneyland. both are great though!

    I love Disneyland!!!!!:)

  • lol 05:19 there a bird in the water

  • I love the skippers, they make the ride different everytime. Some of them are fantastic

  • Comment removed

  • wow i didnt know monthy python guy was a exporer

  • Check out the sign 41 seconds in...Crew's Mess - Friday Chicken (really!)

  • lol i looove this skipper! he's hilarious! MY INLAWS ARE IN.... SIR, YOU'RE DEAD TO ME!!! haahha lmfao!

  • woooo cambodia:)

  • do you have the queue radio/music?

  • That was great. I liked that. :)

  • You guys are retarded. This is how the ride is supposed to be. It's all about the dumb jokes.

  • And the dumb jokes from the people in the boat as well. Trust me, my brother and his boyfriend had a fun time with the lady who was our "driver". :D Good times though, I love Disneyland.

  • Were the self loathing comments made by the tour guide part of the script or does he really hate his life? Hard to tell.

  • I remember the ride ages ago. They used to shoot the hippos with a gun, and the crocodiles. I guess PETA stopped that. - My but that captain took his corney pills that day. :)

  • peta did not stop the shooting of animatronic hippos

  • The taratula MOVES?!?!?! Huh, I never realized that before! Now I feel dumb.

  • i'm impressed. no queues????????

  • I love the skippers! Nothing matters more to them than making the fellow riders happy Ours was very funny and was always joking about everything.

  • But still there's gotta be a possibility to go and enjoy this ride in silence I hope?

  • Kind of. They make things very intense and fun though. I'm sure you would enjoy the none quietness. LOL

  • That has to be like the worst tour guide ever. It's like he's laughing at them for spending hundreds of dollars to take a boat ride on a fake river to look at fake animals.. LOL... Take a safari...

  • It's supposed to be funny, I was on this and the tour guide cracked jokes too.

  • i want it to be at disney paris ;(

  • lol i think he might kill himslf in a hippo mouth lmao

  • lol, the tour guide doesn't seem to happy with his life.

  • I'd love to be a skipper on the Jungle Cruise. I don't imagine they make much, but to me, true entertainment is worth more than actual dollars

  • The skipper wasn't very enthusiastic. I was hoarse after most days during my tour of duty at Disneyland's JC.

  • my grandpa used to have this job when disneyland first opened!!!!!

  • @monkeylakef your grandpa was a good man.

  • I rememeber going on this ride it was really fun and amazing I sure liked it boo yeah

    bye for now

  • they tell funny & bad jokes during this

the guy was like Now the worst song you'll ever here at disney ...ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL....

  • i went on this at night, like, pitch black except for the lights set up there and it was so cool! like all you could see was the 'animals' and stuff,it was cool!

  • I had fun giving the spiels at night so much!! I worked there in 2004!

  • that suks

  • lol - i love it how the guy is so sarcastic - id be the same if i had to do this a billion times a day. I've worked in a bouncey castle business - that was enough for me.

  • I am so proud to be a Floridian <3

  • ive been to disneyland 3 times and have never even seen this ride

  • -Pokes title-

    Disney world

  • its located in Adventureland

  • Which Disneyland, if you went to Cali's then its there. I wouldn't know about the other Disneylands.

  • they are making a movie based on this ride

  • ive had some bad experiences at Disney World, but about 98% of the memories were awesome.. stupid animal rights activists.. take away one of my favorite things at this. if it was a real hippo, i would have a problem. but its fake, so i dont care if they do shoot. ive been wondering one thing about this since i was 3, do the boats run on tracks, or are they actually steered?

  • They run on a track.

  • Nope, no track. I'm a Skipper...Skipper Adam. Trust me.

  • Really? I never noticed that was gone! I remeber they used to make you duck down. But I don't know why they would take that away I always remember they used to say they scared them away.

  • I know. Even story wise, they weren't actually shooting AT the Hippos. They were shooting aimlessly to scare them away

  • i had a tour guide that said please welcome to golden girls when we came to those big old statues. And wasn't there a part where the guy shot a cap gun at a hippo?

  • The shooting "at" the hippo thing ended about 1989-90 due to animal rights activists protesting the promotion of harming an endangered species.... now they shoot to "SCARE" a hippo. in fact - if a skipper shoots at the hippo and is caught - they get repremanded - happened to some one i know...

  • lolness

  • @Kishberly i thought the "Shooting at the hippos" bit was censored after Animal Kingdom opened. As for the guns, they're back, but the skippers shoot into the air, and the guns don't use blanks anymore because they use a gunshot sound which goes off on the speakers when the trigger is pulled.

  • Classic Disney Awesomeness.

  • Get over it. You're making a mountain out of a mole hill. He was only picking at you guys. Get a sense of humor.

  • you people are crazy this is a great ride

  • chicken (really!)

    lol.

  • Our guy said" wave bye bye to the pretty people in the dock, now wave bye bye to the ugly people!"

  • I Love Disney, I wish I could live there, the only place on earth were every one gets along.

  • Not true, one time my family was trying to get on the trolly to the tram to the park and this lady was like "NYEH! I WAS HERE FIRST! GET OUT OF MY WAY! BLEEEEEEEEEEYAGH!" It was like, "Well, have a nice day at the happiest place on earth, beotch!"

  • I guess the world is going to hell in a basket, we are one big disfunk-shnl family. LOL.

  • haha

  • omg somethin happened like tht 2 me. me and my dad were gettin on the tram and the women and man were like we were here first. go find some other place. and i was like whoaa rude much

  • The first time I saw this, I said to myself, "Hey, I could come up with better material than those guys."

  • You missed the point of the attraction. The jokes are SUPPOSED to be horrible.

  • keep that to ur self lol the skippers think they are actually funny ;)

  • They're on scripts...>_>

  • There is a "script" but there are like 5-6 different things they can say at each part, so no ride is the same, but a lot of skipper add a few things that havent been completely oked, but as long as it doesnt offend someone they are ok.

  • lol, the tour guide seems depressed

  • When did you go?

    Theres practically no lines!

    GREAT VID! Thanx

  • is this in disneyworld?

and if it is, where is it?

  • nevermind, i have been on this ride,

    its in the magic kingdom,

its so boring waiting in line

  • are thos real taranchalas because i didnt see them to years ago at disney world magic kingdom ??

  • I guess I had a really bad tour guide because everyone seems to love this ride but I really hated it, it just seems kinda tacky.

  • The schpeil never gets old.

  • Great job getting all the pre-ride queue gags on tape. It is that type of detail that makes going to WDW so great.

  • i love disney so much! tht ride is always fun and i love the tour guides humor its the stupidest things but u just have 2 laugh thnks 4 putting the video on!!!

  • looks fun mostly with the hippos and the cave when i went i did not get to get on that ride but i will get on next time i go

  • Does this ride ever get long lines? I am shocked the ride has lasted this long cause in Dineyland I never saw the Line longer than 5 minutes. The Indiana Jones ride is most likely the culprit. The stores nearby were always cool to stop in cause of the rubber snakes and everything else. Awesome video...

  • My Favorite Part of the Ride is waiting in Line.

There are so many posters to look at.

    My Favorite Part: The Tranchala

    LMAO

  • My mom swore she saw pandas in the Cambodian shrine tunnel.

  • I don't think so. However, there is a tiger in there, and some monkeys, and maybe some other unusual monkeys, but no pandas. Busch Gardens in Tampa had real pandas for about a year a long time ago. They mainly sit and eat a lot of bamboo. Bamboo must be fattening! heh

  • the first time i went on her i got freaked out because i saw that giant snake fake or not i hate snakes the rest is cool though.

  • i love Walt Disney World...this ride is so odd but fun to go on

  • gah omg 1 mor thng tehe, i rem. lke all thse jokes from wen i wuz there, plasticus machanicus, the waterfall oooz and ahhzz lol if u watch the walt disney world - splash mountain, i admit, im a freak 4 disney ahah

  • same

  • o and in edition 2 historybuffwannabe or w.e. wen my older bro and i came 2 disney last summer, lol yea we went on the ride during the day but thn 1nce at night and omg ya they do joke around mor, the part wher those ppl r throwin the spears they got us 2 be real quiet and 1 snded lke it sed sumthn lke me wnt disco idk lol did tht make sense?

  • omg i totally agree wit sorria86, if they change ths ride a bit 4 a movie they makin, bla lol they did tht good wit pirates of the caribbean, but i wuz worried about the haunted mansion too, idk lol mayb itl be good, tht is if they do it <3 disney<3

  • this ride is pretty good, sometimes their jokes are funny

  • Yeah, I wish the old Disney rides were still around too, especially Horizons.

I was listening to a Disney podcast the other day and apparently there's a rumor going around about the Jungle Cruise being changed slightliy to reflect a Jungle Cruise movie they will be making. Ugh. :(

  • I totally agree. I would pay full price. I love the old disney rides.Bring them back. I wish Disney's Marketing Group could READ this!!!!!!!!!.

  • I wish disney would build a park or at least an area in a park where the theme is old disney rides, where the disney's history and it outdated rides can still be enjoyed. Yeah some of the old epcot ride where outdated but it moved beyond that, if some of these rides could be seen for another 100 years just the level of how bizarre they are in themselves would be an attraction, people would enjoy them.

  • i used to ALWAYS laugh really loud sarcastically at their jokes.. i got yelled at a lot.

  • its nice to see a ride that hasn't been completely commercialized like pirates of the caribbean

  • it was pretty neat to see all the animals

  • wtf.. no line!

  • I usually ride twice; The second time at night. When things are slow after dark the pilots mess around a little more and the ride takes a little longer. Good times!

  • Awesome video!!! LOVE THIS CLASSIC DISNEY ATTRACTION!

  • Yeah, this is my stuff!!! WDW!

  • jungle Cruise That So Incredible

  • lol this skipper is one of the good ones. I hate the ones that don't get into it, its just not as fun. hehe ohh the adoreable cheesiness of this ride. its just great. 10 days till i'll be there!

  • The Jungle Cruise is my favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom hahaha.

  • i always do this ride during late closings so theres nvr a line

  • oh yeah nvm srry bout that
