WRC clones, but with twice the HP. Best motorsport in the world.

Are they cheaper? If so, I think the WRC should just screw S2000 and use these for the future of the sport.

Wouldn t say there a great deal cheaper, but its certainly considerably cheaper to run a full European Rallycross Championship than run in the WRC, plus its a better package for sponsors and potential sponsors. Theres quite a few WRC men drifting towards Rallycross now so can certainly see the sport growing. Recent WRC men who have participated include , Gronholm, H Solberg, Pantonen, Kankkunen, Alen, Nesbitt, and Andreas Eriksson in the orange Fiesta in this clip is now a major player.

i´m sad to tell you that you are wrond, the ralltcross cars ar purpose build cars just for rallycross, the cars are extremly tuned cars, they can go from 0 - 60 mph/100 km/h in under 1,5 seconds. have a top speed of about 120 mph/200 km/h, their gearboxes are so tuned that if you should place a standard gearbox in a rallycross car the car is capable of reaching 180-200 mph/300-320 km/h. pleace read about the cars before you comment, pleace.

If your comments are aimed at me I think your lecturing the wrong person. I ve being involved with rallycross for nearly 30 years, firstly when my uncle used to compete against the likes of Schanche, Alamaki, Welch etc, then as a spectator, I ve been to half the ERC rounds this year so yes I do no what I m talking about.

hard to believe because wheel spin can happen in AWD cars, very light front wheel drive cars, and verylight rwd cars. even if the car has grip the tranny would pop trying to do a 0-60 in 1.5 seconds the drivshaft would bend twist or simply break clutches always slip even a little and even superclose trannies wouldn't do any good because theres always the time shifting it into gear (including sequntial gear shift and paddle)

I've always thought Rallycross looked like epic fun and I've no idea what the commentator was saying but he's obviously loving it! Now the WRC's dying, I say they replace it with a world rallycross series.
