ergo.. lowering my car would be foolish.. mine is a rally pig. i have one here local coming up.

mud and snow tires on her too. mud flaps, sattelite radio.. the lot. my car seldom gets stuck with good tires on her.. she really can go anywhere.went to a local rally, sand roads. almost got stuck. no such luck.. she powered right on through regardless. deep ruts. no problem. unstoppable car.

@gesalbte wrx always have equal power front and rear, the reason why the front wheels have apparently no power is because it have an open differential up front, so when the rear wheels are spinning and the front wheel that we see seems to have no power, the other front wheel we dont see is spinning. all equipped with 5 spd manual gearbox have the full time awd 50/50 front/rear

If the snow melts inside the muffler it doesn't matter either, all you have to do is run the car a little while and it will evaporate the water. Kind of like condensation build-up in the morning, only more of it.

@extreek Those are rally cars, and their suspensions are nothing like a stock Subaru. A stock Subaru suspension on a WRC course wouldnt last a stage (if it was overly rough). Subaru's are just like any other AWD vehicle, minus the boxer engine. Theyre great for inclement weather, but "off-roading" in them? Leave that to the Jeeps. ;-)
