@theguitardude83 He is not an Iron Hand, since he's bearing the markings of the Black Templar, however the colour scheme of their armour doesn't match that chapter so I'm not sure who they are. But Black Templar would be the most logical going off armour style and attire.

I love the theme and been a fan of GW's 40k for more than 15 years, and sadly, i smell a fail. MMO industry is decandent and money thirsty. That's fine and all, but a theme like this doesn't deserve less than perfection and being true to it's origins, which in the case of their graphical presentation we can clearly see it's not the case.

The game doesn't really feel like the GRIM universe of 40k. seems WAY too cartoony and bright to fit well with the universe. Artistically i think they kinda failed, i mean look at that nurgle demon and then look at one of the models from the table top game.

After all, having a diverse environment entails the designer to take different approaches to different zones- some are gloom and dark and others are much brighter. Also, keep in mind that this is pre-beta and that the scenes are taken from the trailer of the Imperium of Man. I'm sure it'll get alot darker once it moves on to Orks and Chaos.

Games such as Aion do not have many players since it needed a super computer(not the MAIN reason, the game wasn't good) anyways, right at the moment the graphics are not bad. 2 years more yes I agree with you, but do you believe graphics stay the same in a game which just had an announcement trailer 6 monthes ago? not even closed beta.

@TheZakzook I meant Warhammer Age of Reckoning, my bad, think I was high when i wrote it :D WoW does have shit graphics, but its old and Aion is unpopular cause it's a bloody grind fest, not because the graphics are 'too good'. The point of a trailer is for a taste of the game and it wasn't inspiring at all IMO. Maybe it's just a shit trailer? I love WH universe, but I wasn't blown away by AoR (unpolished gameplay) and I can't see a shooting based game win at mmorpg. This hasn't proved me wrong.

@TheZakzook What makes you think this game won't also be click and kill? Did you see the clip of the 'boss fight' looked exactly like other generic MMOs. This isn't a gameplay trailer but you are watching game play, its not a CGI cinematic. And the quality of the trailer does tell you about the quality of the game. Hey it might be awsome, but so far it doesn't look great. I really hope it suprises me and isn't another average to bad MMO ...but it is THQ so I'm not holding breath.
