  • Beautifully danced. The first time I saw it, the role of Cassandra was danced by Linda Hodes. As I recall, LH brought a terrific sharpness to the moves and more intensity which I find a bit lacking in this rehearsal version. Nevertheless, it is lovely to see the Cassandra moment of this great work again. I was 17 years old when I fist saw this work in 1957 or 58. Can't remember anymore. I think it was at the Alvin Theater. Paul Taylor as Aegisthus. Bert Ross as Agamemnon.
