  • Hi Mick

Congratulation great help with your videos, I have a problem with the engine exhaust fan, the fan touches the fibber tube and its impossible to move the engine forwards, how did you do it, did you cut the fibber tube so to leave the fan clear bu on top of it, because for me its impossible to leave the fan inside the tube best regards

    Jorge

  • Hi Jorge,

Thanks for your comments, if you mean the cooling shroud I had the same problem so I left it out, just make sure the hole in the bottom of the fuselage is about the same size as the cylinder head and you will be fine. I have other Vario helis with cooling fans and no shrouds and they fly fine....no overheating!

    Regards

    Mick

  • Hi Mick

Awsome video, where did you buy the rear door opening kit please,i dont like the one that comes with kit

    cheers

  • Hi,

Thanks for the comments, the door kit is from 'Cine-Scale' and works very well.

I think Vario sells a similar kit for the EC 135

    Regards

    Michael

  • nice video! i am also building a Vario EC135 right now. I also ordered some cine scale parts one year ago, also the airflow rectifiers. It´s great to see that i am not the only one who is using this rectifier. I hope that i can make my first flight next spring.

I wish you good luck and all the best for your EC135!

    greets - Chris.

  • Hi,

The rectifier needs a lot of work prior to fitting but as long as you take your time it should turn out okay.
