Lol. Once you destroy the bridge, this mission basically plays itself. The catapults can be blown up with the tank, the cougars simply obliterated and the forest is a deathtrap for loki/jagermech stars, just block them with your mechs until they clump up then spam airstrike.

This mission is tricky at first, but has nothing on the "capture industrial complexes and destroy all enemy forces" one (the one with a swarm of firestarters).

i did this one with 6 AC20´s and it went ok, got more casualties and the salvage wasnt great. you have GREAT salvage.

Mine layers are quite handy on this map. The enemy will try to move off the n/w corner. Place a giant mine field using mine layers and way points and they will be slowed quite a bit trying to run through the mines. I some times use 2 mine layers to double the field building speed.

LMAO! i just played this mission litterally 5 mins ago beat it fairly easy, blow up the bridge after the cougars cross then the catapults go up the right side, send 1 mech there and blow em with the tanks, , pretty easy then confront the rest in the middle knock em down and target another on the 1 running the farthest away lol. :p. wpw u played that totally different

@MRMilade I replayed the levels, but if you see my vids you'll realise I played them in such a way that it only took me a minute into each level to see if I got the Mad Cats. So the replays took me an extremely short time!

Quick question, why haven't you repaired your mechs? was it too expensive? (I cant remember since the lat time I played this game was over 10 years)

@ijoemil It isn't too expensive to repair the 'Mechs before each mission. However, if a mission has repair bays available early on, or if I'm bringing a repair truck (as in this one), it saves a lot of RPs' to repair the Mechs during the mission. After all, the Repair Truck only costs, what, 4500 RPs'? It's moves like this that led to me accumulating an insane hoard of RPs' by the end of the core campaign. Heh.

@gribae Just as I thought, this "Gribae" continued to post vulgarities and lies on other people's videos but could not explain how the "cheats" he hinted at in these videos were enabled.

So, Gribae, you're another jealous newbie who can only brag on other people's videos, but is a gutless, lying, insecure coward when I asked you, honorably and politely in full view of everyone who can see these videos, to justify yourself. You didn't even reply to my query privately.

And I am a little tired of envious newbies who lie about the difficulty setting of my videos or think I cheated because they don't understand how certain moves can be performed. I've already shot all of them down by pointing out their mistakes when they posted nonsense on my videos, as you may have seen for yourself!

I am fair; if you accuse me of cheating, please state how I cheated, so I can correct your misperception...unless you're making it up.

are usually fodder for my main assault mech teams in the forest. i've taken a minelayer before and worked it. re: the catapults crossing by the pressure tanks, it's usually a matter for me of having at least one mech or light airstrike left to explode the tanks. sod the salvage, they're only catapults!

i actually think the mission with the convoy, masakari, mad cats and those sodding nova cats is by far the hardest mission. with this i usually have 2-3 teams. i send two fast heavy mechs (madcats) down to F3 and have them take out the cougars. then i have them go to the bridge to the southeast and have them destroy the bridge. after they run to rejoin the main group, opening up the map for airstrike.

after pounding the crap out of the heavy mech convoys with airstrikes, any remaining mechs
