  • I preffer Chevy Cruze...

  • Isn't an Audi basically a rebadged VW?

  • the 2011-present Volkswagen Passat non European model is assembled in

    Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States

    Shanghai, China

    Puebla, Mexico

  • The car is pretty wide from inside. Nice design and economical. Easy to access near to luxury.

  • To me it looks like my Old Nissan Altima 2004 hahaha.....

  • I own a 2008 Jetta and love it. Unfortunately the new styling looks more Japanese and less European...a shame really. If I wanted a honda...I would buy a honda. I was thinking about upgrading to a passat V6 and I'm sure its a great car, but the new form looks boring and is basically a selling point only.

  • @MOSacid Agreed 100% about the styling. In my opinion the only thing going for this new Passat is the TDI & manual transmission option

  • WTF! this is just a nicer jetta

  • I like the passat its got a premium look like always!! Great job vw! Never mind all these hating ass jealous ass bitch ass people who couldnt afford to own one! Das auto!

  • VW....*SIGH* THEIR CARS ARE GETTING SO BORING. THE JETTA AND PASSAT LOOK ALMOST IDENTICAL. THE PREVIOUS GENERATIONS OF BOTH ARE MUCH BETTER. STOP TRYING TO PLAY IT SAFE VW.

  • @313hotboi this is nice

  • I dont like german cars there not reliable and cost a lot of money to repair. Though i would buy this car.....

  • is this a Honda Accord with VW badges???

  • The door thunk sounds good! German! Can't wait for this new Passat.

  • i thought people bought VW because they were more refined and better in terms of quality parts used. Now VWoA has turned that upside down

  • The Euro version (made in Germany) looks a fair bit nicer overall. Although is does cost twice as much as the American version!

  • 22000$ ???? usa has terribly low prices

  • I'm sick of people saying Vokeswagin and Voltzwagin.

  • exactly what i said, looks like the boring jetta, vw trys to make a big deal its cheaper so buy it lol thats not going to work cus it looks cheaper

  • This bastard looks like the guy who plays the scarecrow in Batman Begins and therefore I don't like him.

  • @KoalaTheory yeah, but more retarded...

  • its less by 8k not 6 or 7

  • today most cars look very similar, many details looks like come from somewhere else

in 60' or 70' it was imposilble.

  • I would buy a Kia or Hyundai instead. Nazi cars are boring now a days.

  • Another Camry or should I say KiA XD.

  • @igeekone Well, I personally would buy this as a family sedan over any Camry or Kia ...

  • kind of favors the bmw 3 series from the back.

  • Its ugly cheaply made. why should i buy it?

  • blah blah blah --- im about 6ft tall --- blah blah blah

  • It looks like an accord in the front.....

  • The passat looks better than jetta

  • It's a good car, no doubt, but I think it's taking a Phaeton look. It's kind off taking other Volkswagen looks and a hint of a C class too.

  • @alexnitrouz its too ugly to look like a c class

  • i love the front end

  • i like that polite looking

  • really....10 inches longer overall......and 4 inches longer than its predecessor. fascinating.

  • from the front, it looks almost like the new honda accord 0:28

  • rather have the accord

  • VW is losing its design identity.

  • VW copy the 2011 accord wtf!

  • Does anyone else see the old optima in the back whcih is bad because kia sucks

  • his voice cracks at 1:48 ish...

  • Kelsey Mays is the best.

  • what a boring look.. VW getting into lame designs

  • @LTF85199 Because they're trying to increase there market in the US. You can tell it even looks cheaper now. It looked better before they brought production to the US. Still somehow Toyota can do this and even make most of their vehicles more in the US than the big 3, and still it's a success.

  • @Zinizzle I completely understand their new strategy, but they can design a nice looking car with low cost. what really happened here is poor art/fashion and not necessarily using cheap parts. End result is a very boring looking car but doesn't look cheap at all..

  • @LTF85199 This isn't boring, I like it, but I think the Camry looks a little better.

  • @LTF85199 It's called conservative. Not all of us want to drive cars that look like Space Ships.

  • @Laceration242 the older one didn't look like a space ship and it looked far more interesting than this "conservative" thing.. looks like they are going to conserve a lot of potential sales too...

  • @LTF85199 This one looks a lot more modern then the old Passat that's for sure. I guess that is all opinion based. This Passat has a lot more to offer then the older model, like any new model would. Only time will tell how it will do with sales, but i can see this selling very well do to many factors.

  • @LTF85199 at least it's not your rusty honda.

  • @brinmb no, I donated that to your mom when she came to visit me the other day..

  • @LTF85199 nope, sorry my mom has bettter car.

  • this, is, sparta quality!!!

  • o wow 6-7 thousand cheaper than the old one? and its bigger? wow! why couldnt they do this before?

  • @tallzdatank There's onbiously drawbacks that they won't tell you. Either way, they're still eating away your money.

  • @PlzDuntBanMe I doubt that there will be too many drawbacks. With VW growing and growing as a company and owning more and more other car companies, sharing car parts will be more and more common. And that's what they already did here with the Passat . Instead of developing a whole new platform they just took a slightly modified old Passat platform or maybe the same as the new Audi A6. Same with some parts in the interior etc. etc. ... and that saves a whole lot of money.

  • looks like they took the great old passat and made it cheap looking and accord like. wrong direction VW.

  • @matman142 I think the CC is taking over the passat's position, so it's like...

Corolla, Camry, Avalon - or - Sentra, Altima, Maxima - or - Civic, Accord, ___?

  • @iNegahban well the CC is a great car, but this is just cheap junk, i mean no more 2.0T and that shitty 5 cylinder as the base engine, just not gonna sell what it has the possibility too

  • @matman142 Well to your response, as I stated, I think that VW is trying to do what major car companies like Toyota, and Nissan are doing. The way I see it as this. VW had 2 cars pretty much priced at the same, but the CC looked so much more appealing than the Passat. They had to seperate those two cars (price wise). So, let me explain.

    Corolla ($15,000) -> Camry ($20,000) -> Avalon ($30,000)

    Jetta ($16,000) -> Passat ($22,000) approx. -> CC ($28,000)

  • @iNegahban

don't you mean Civic, (blank), Accord? the Accord is a full-size vehicle (currently)

  • @KingEastCoast I'm talking about prices. Though I know where you are going on that one.

  • Does this bloke have a speech impediment? He keeps stuttering after every other word.

  • the town car has the best rear seats

  • my dad is andrea the giant

  • Kelsey Mays is an unprofessional idiot! I just hate his wimp mouth. Id rather watch John Davis from Motor Week talk about cars! :D

  • @redneon06 I second that!

  • ford fusion is the best looking family car

  • Finally a car i can fit into

  • Great Car...I love it!!

  • 2nd

  • first
