He plays very slow Rb8, but the losing move is Ah8, the only move is Rxb5! and the game is complicated, but after Bh8 he es totally lost.

And the dragon is not dead. Kasparov play it against Anand.

The Dragon is not dead at all... But i just dont believe the particular variation that black chose, why not simply d5 after she castles long? Also, Rybka 3 gives Nh5 the only move after she plays h5.

You are correct with your analysis; ...d5 is the best move. From beginners to IMs, the Dragon is very much still alive, but in the GM and high GM level, imo, it is basically dead.

I play the dragon for black. 9..d5 is the best response to strike the center, however, there are also other ways to prepare the dragon in a different way that white will be confused. I'm sure Alexandra Kosteniuk will be surprised if and when I play with MY preparation in a tournament against her, someday.
