  • this was a stellar panic 4th of july run........they always shine on a 4th run!

  • I guess that's why he played with Umphrey's for NYE 2008-09.

  • i was there phoenix in 2000, like 7 feet from dave schools, this was a musical collaboration, not a damn lesson. do you really think taj would just play with anyone?

  • 1999/2000/2001 was epic panic... man i saw some good ones.. lol

  • FANTASTIC

  • i also have to say that Taj is far more versitile than Howlin was and ever will be!!!

  • heavy-

Sorry!!!! I hit thumbs down by accident. But I agree with you. Taj is one of the very best.

Why can't I find a clear-sounding vid here with him singing She Caught the Katy?

  • your out of yur cotton pickin mind!!! you might as well say all blues guys sound the same!!!

  • he sounds more like howling wolf than taj mahal. it's fun to see blues gods imitating each other

  • looks more like cooking lessons to me....haha... justplayin... no disrespect.... I got soo much love for Taj and WSP. We should be grateful for WSP though, becuase if not for them, ther would be even more bisco freaks out there...

WSP represents a fusion of all forms of American Music... get with it...

  • I heart WP

  • Hmm? is this a music session? Or is Taj giving a music lesson?

  • so right

  • Hunter is a fool, WSP is a fantastically talented group of individuals. I'd encourage him to listen to Joe Joe more carefully, not to mention one of the most relevant songwriters in the days era. Peace

  • so right

  • no this isnt me and the devil blues, JB just raps it in this song. this song is called, early in the mornin bluezzzzz

  • cannot find it anywhere

  • from the widespread panic documentary i think it was caled the earth will swallow you

  • awesome! What's the name of this song & where can I find the lyrics?

  • The song is "Me and the Devil Blues". It's the last track on their first album "Space Wrangler." It's even better on the album because they jam it into the Talking Heads song "Heaven". It is to this day one of my all time favorite covers.

  • WOW! It's interesting to see how WSP helps publicize/promote those who came before and influenced them. It's a nice give and take. Awesome!

  • Taj is such a sweet guy, and an all around true fun but serious musician! Oh, I'm sorry widespread sounds wonderful too!

  • AWESOME video, WSP and Taj Mahal, what!?

  • this video is so ross

  • Taj Mahal is the shit!!!

  • still around ! regards bluespower.
