  • @suteiisan how could you hate ron?? He's amazing! I mean yes he can be annoying but I still love him lol

  • @KoolKid6500 I totally agreed... Until you went on a cursing rant and called everyone filthy mudbloods... I mean come on, Hermiones a mudblood and she's cool! XD

But seriously I don't think calling everyone a-holes was really necessary... But I agree with the rest lpl

  • Glad she didn't kill Ron. The story wouldn't be what it is without him. People don't give Ron enough credit. He's one of the most real character of the book. He's not as smart as Hermione and not as powerful as Harry but he doesn't let that stop him and still continues to fight beside him. He's moody and aggressive( how a teenage boy is meant to be) but he's still a caring person. I hate how the fandom gives him such a bad rap. Ron's a good friend with a good heart. He deserves more respect.

  • She must have been really pissed throughout the entire series..

"Harrys parents are gonna die... hmmm... and Cedric is gonna die, yeah, he'll die.. um.. the only family harry has left is gonna die... fred is gonna die.. dobby is gonna die.. snape is gonna die.. dumbledore is gonna die.. hmm... i wonder if I should kill Ron, too..

    WTF?

  • @ElementalPride THANK U...if ron died ide wear black for the rest of my life :D

  • @KoolKid6500 u r amazing

  • To Haters,

I HATE PEOPLE WHO SAY "SHE HAS NO RIGHT TO KILL RON OFF" or " I WOULD KILL THAT BITCH IF SHE DID THAT". DON'T FORGET THAT IT'S HER STORY, NOT YOURS, HER CHARACTERS, NOT YOURS. THE HARRY POTTER WORLD IS HERS AND SHE HAS SHARED IT WITH YOU. YOU TAKE TOO MUCH FOR GRANTED. IT'S HER STORY, NOT YOURS. SHE DECIDES WHO DIES, NOT YOU. YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO READ J.K ROWLING'S BOOKS, YOU SICK, FILTHY MUDBLOODS. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE HUMAN RACE! SO FUCK OFF BACK TO YOUR ASS HOLES!

    Thank You

  • @KoolKid6500 true, but remember who she wrote it for....

  • No one would like hp if he died

  • sdo glad she didn't do it cuz it would be like they never could really be happy again

  • If had killed Ron I think my love for this story would have changed...and I may not have hated Ron as much as I do.

  • Thanks god she didnt

  • IF SHE KILLED RON I WOULD HAVE SHOT THE BITCH THE MINUTE I READ IT

  • @xavierulzok fuck you, potter hater.

  • It's seems from the books Hermione would have been yet character she was thinking of killing and not Ron. Am I the only one?

  • If she killed ron all the gingers would unite and take over the World!

    Gingers do have souls

  • I would kill Ron if it meant bringing back Sirius or Dobby!!

  • She decided not to kill them but being in a bad mood she still wanted to inflict a lot of pain on all of them. She's probably like "Well, might as well torture Hermione, have Voldey bitch slap him, and literraly do something bad to each Weasley."

  • He's the comic relief of the book, I don't think you could kill him off...

  • She should have killed off Ron.

  • Comment removed

  • WHAT THE HELLL!!!????!!!!

  • Amo a Ron ... Gracias a Merlin que no lo hizo :')

  • Ron kept the story so much alive, he's one big piece in everyone's life, he was Harry's best and first friend, he's Hermione's comfort/love/friend/future and we got to know the Weasley family because of him. Ron will always be my favorite character (from all stories) and good thing she didn't do it!!!

  • Let's see, she spares Ron but kills off Lupin, Tonks, Dobby, Snape, Colin Creevy, Mad Eye Moody and Fred, Crabbe, and many other nameless students of Hogwarts in the finale

  • I wish she let lupin, Fred, lavender ,serius , dumbledoor and snape live

  • @SimplyHallie hey lavendar brown died??????????

  • @SimplyHallie Lavender only died in the movies, she never died in the books.

  • Harry potter should have died it would have been a better ending.. In the film anyway

  • @cheekypuffin technically he did die but as a rule, if the hero sacrifices themself to save everyone else a horrific death he is almost 100% garrenteed to come back

  • thank God she didnt kill Ron...Ron n Hermione r my fav.....

  • I would have much rather had Ron get killed than Fred. Killing Fred pissed me off. The twins were my favorite Weasleys.

  • @Mrblancnoir but ron's funny- wait never mind yeah should have killed him not freddie

  • @Mrblancnoir yeah totally agree wid u...so sad that fred was killed :'(

  • She must have been in a really bad mood that she had to kill off Dobby.

  • Where is this interview from?

  • she killed everyone.

    xD

  • I don't understand why every Harry potter video I go on there always seems to be a comparison between twilight.... Two very different books/movies :S

  • @cherrypop8059 I wondered that myself too. Then after looking into it I found something hilarious. A franchise is always at its peak of fame when the finale reaches the theaters. (Even though it will be remembered as a legend afterwards) The reason HP fans bash Twilight isn't because there are shape-changers in both, or because theres a wolf-changing character in both with the last name "black", or even because theres an actor playing an important character in both, it's actually because...

  • @cherrypop8059 (continued) They both hit their finales in the theaters at around the same time (and in 2 parts even! Pretty stick by Twilight if you ask me, they could've made it into one). Not only that, but Twilight's part 2 is still coming out, thus it's still getting loads of attention and raves (being one of those books to rouse the world... Even if it kinda reeks) whereas HP is finally settling down and being immortalized as a memorable legend.(It's going up there with LOTR, StarWars, etc)

  • HARRY HER,I

  • Guys, stop complaining about how she killed so many great characters. A good author must kill people the readers like, because if she writes "Voldemort killed 20 people", you don't care about it, you didn't know them. Only if she writes "Voldemort killed Ron", you really get how terrible it is, and that's what makes you want Voldemort destroyed, that's what makes you really care about what happens.

  • @MsPseudonyma Like Twilight, where pretty much nobody dies. Even most of the antagonists survive.

  • @annie10103

You're totally right. Kinda makes the Volturi seem less evil, all talking and no acting...

  • @MsPseudonyma I also would have preferred it if Meyer had killed off Jacob instead of making him into a pedophile...

  • @MsPseudonyma But the best author doesn't need to take to desperate measures to find which main character they want to kill just for the sake of tears and heartfelt goodbyes. The best will draw up another method and a legendary ending. Ex: In the third LOTR, the main characters live, but Sam and Frodo go in separate paths (two brothers by bond since birth) and are never seen until Sam dies and goes to Valinor where he sees Frodo again.

  • @MsPseudonyma Well said, I hate how in other books the author kills people no one cares about, killing good characters like Sirius or Snape or anyone like that makes it more intense and makes it seem more realistic in a way, realistic because they aren't killing random people, but ones who protect Harry

  • @CMF1207 They kill a lot of random people off in Harry Potter too. Its really just cause that's voldemort's character though.

  • Couldnt she have left fred alone and let him live

  • Harry should have died, so that Ron could pick up the pieces and build a Lego Harry!!

  • ron was my favorate :(

  • Ah the Spanish subtitles!

  • dafuq, so killing dubby wasn't enough for her! but I agree with @danflyer, that scene when harry goes to the forest in deathly hallows part 2, would be even more epic and sad if ron was there:'(

  • No way, gingers have souls and Ron has a soul!

  • She should have. Ron needed to die. ;P

  • I believe if she killed off Ron, Hermione would have got together with Harry...Harmony all the way!!! :)

  • @rsosa99 would have never happened, harry and hermione never ever felt that way. That never was a possibility.

  • urgh she should have done it. Ron's a ... yer insert insult here.... :D

  • i love danniels laugh

  • i know someone who likes ron if he died shed be a bit angry haha

  • @Kevenumous hahaha how? It was a joke by the way, I'm saying thy the movie wouldn't be as good without Ron... haah

  • ToriCaitlyns10 halloween265 i agrre with you guys

  • I think of the 3 main character's, Ron would be the best to kill off. Not because he's my least favourite character or anything, but because he seems like the kind of character to sacrifice himself for his friends/family. I can really see, perhaps in OotP when they were in the ministry trying to retrieve the prophecy, Ron sacrificing himself so that the rest of the DA could escape. It would have made Harry's walk out to the forest in DH even more epic if Ron had been there with Harry's parents.

  • @danflyer22 just like gtfo'ing away at last book

  • @danflyer22 you've just gave me a brilliant idea for a fan fiction !

  • @danflyer22 That would have been AMAZING, but Hermione.......

  • @danflyer22 Your comment made my day <3

  • If Ron died, Harry Potter would be nothing. </3

  • @Nada29xoxo YOU'RE LYING!

  • UGH, ron shouldve been killed off to make hermione and harry date!! FHSJKFHJKSD gah D:<

  • @kim5186 i feel bad for agreeing with this...

  • @xe585 Right? but idk... its like, fuck, theyd be sooo much cute/hotter together, and their children <3

  • @kim5186 yep

  • im sooooo glad she didnt kill ron i love that guy

  • @theShitArtist your a retard hermione and harry would be a AWESOME couple

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 draco ano Hermione are a horrible idea

  • the book wouldn't have been half as good if it only revolved around two characters. i think 3 fitted the book very well

    and killing ron mid way?

    it would have been worse.

  • If it was so that Ron would die, I would have tears every where...

  • Hmm that explains all the near deaths for Ron .when he was knockede out in the 1 book in the chess game , crashing in the car and getting punch by the whomping willow, and MANY more.

  • I think she should've killed Ron instead of Fred, then maybe the scene in the final movie would've been much more epic than just one of the Weasley twins dead on the floor... That scene did not do Fred justice. At. All.

  • @AideenRathnaitTV Wicked!

  • I'm glad she didn't kill Ron, for Hermione's sake =)

  • Well Fred died

  • Ron is my favorite!

thanks for not killing him :-)

  • Y U KILL RON ? Ginger-racism :P

    She sounded so evil : « I almost killed him, just because I wanted, y'know ? »

  • ron didnt die but most of his family did

  • I support Ron dying.

  • that would have made room for Harry and Hermonie who I wanted to be together when I was younger lol :)

  • that biatch ron is halarious

  • like meh which one of the three is the least important

  • How the fuck did I get to Harry potter vids from Zach Galifianakis vids?¿?

  • Ron you just got owned she was gonna kill you just cause she was in a bad mood

  • I would of liked it if ron died! then i becha' harry and hermione would have kids ect...

  • @DanandEmma4EVA Then who would Ginny have gone with? :o

  • @DanandEmma4EVA Even if Ron hadn't been in the books you've missed the fact that Harry and Hermione are incompatible as a couple. Hermione is by nature very wound up and has a low self-esteem. Harry doesn't have the patience or the time to deal with it because he's been through so much, he needs someone who is strong and positive - the female version of Ron if you will. I doubt Harry and Hermione would've even been friends without Ron, seeing as Harry hardly found Hermione as fascinating as Ron.

  • @DanandEmma4EVA Harry and Hermione would have brought eachother down as a couple - not that they weren't good friends. Ron was vital to Harry and Hermione's development as characters. Ron set them free in a way, he took the pressure off. Around Ron, Harry and Hermione could be themselves. Ron offered Harry friendship, unwavering loyalty and a family to call his own - Ron showed Harry what love is. Around Ron, Harry could just be himself, Harry - not Harry Potter - and be loved for who he was.

  • @DanandEmma4EVA So even if you don't like Ron and Hermione's relationship, you have to admit that the main bromance and most important relationship in the books is that one between Harry and Ron. If you love Harry, how can you not love Ron? Ron basically completes the character of Harry! As for Hermione, she was a very unconfident girl with a need to attain perfection because of that insecurity. She was always trying to prove herself so that people would accept her.

  • @DanandEmma4EVA Ron offers her the chance to be herself, she doesn't have to prove anything to him, he takes the edge of her personality, Hermione becomes more confident and grows up to be a beautiful, confident and intelligent woman. If Harry had been her partner, I don't think he would have been able to provide that for her (not because he is a bad person, but because Harry had bigger issues) Thanks to Ron, Hermione realizes that she doesn't need to be the best to be loved.

  • @DanandEmma4EVA Ron was vital for the trio, he was the heart, and he (despite his insecurities and immaturity) provided for Harry and Hermione with what no one had ever provided them. So, if you say that you would've liked Ron to die for dramatic purposes - I agree. It would've stabbed Harry, Hermione and the book in the heart.

Anyway, just sharing my opinion on these characters. Helping you understand them and the books better. Don't underestimate characters so easily!

  • Why wasn't she in a happy place?

  • go the red head

  • @MsDiehardTwihard Wholeheartedly agree. I frankly kept laughing at Ron all throughout the series - nothing compared to the twins, but you get the idea.

But Percy? Pfft. I was more aware of Charlie's existence than Percy's. No-one would've cared, but nooooooo. I8

  • @t10015 Whats wrong with Ron???

  • @AwesomeFilms111 Instead of Ron or Fred, how about Percy? It doesn't seem like anyone liked Percy! I agree with George without Fred isn't right, but Ron is awesome too, right? What would Hermione do without Ron?

  • @MsDiehardTwihard I totally agree!

  • @MsDiehardTwihard Its not about what character that is liked most, freds death was i think to express the dark times that were. Fred and George was AMAZING and im sad fred died, but i think she kind of did the right thing, if she whould of chose percy i dont think it whould be as expressive (is that a word? :O) showing hoq dark and depressing the war was.

  • @iAmAcePC I agree 100%. And I think she can't kill off Percy because no matter how much I hated Percy, he played a role still in DH and how he came back to his family. <3

  • @xxMissChocklitMilk Nice name, i just drank ''ChocklitMilk'' :)) even tho its a little random xD And yeah, i didnt think about that so much, but when you say it i come to think of the book and the chat between him and perc's family, so i dont think he deserves to die because he came back and proofed that he was more then a, wait, gonna look in the book. alright, Fred: a ministerlover, a family betrayer and a power hungry moron. :) fred died because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time :(

  • @MsDiehardTwihard No, it wouldn't have worked if Percy had died, because most of the fans don't have the emotional attachment to him that they have to Fred :) Though I personally would like to take this oppurtunity to say that I LOVE PERCY. HE'S BRILLIANT. He's a pig headed git and makes an awful mistake... but then has the sheer human decency to realise it, back down and redeem himself. It's unjust that Snape gets so much love, and he doesn't, when their situations were very similar.

  • @MsDiehardTwihard Go for Harry.

  • @MsDiehardTwihard from what i heard JK Rowling was close to pairing fred and hermione

  • @MsDiehardTwihard How could you say something like that! Ok, Percy was an idiot, leaving his family, but to say it would have been better? Remember that Percy brought out Fred's last laugh!

  • @MsDiehardTwihard I like Percy. He's ambitious, but he's good at heart.

  • @MsDiehardTwihard I know right! Percy was a git!

  • thank you that you don't kill ron weasley

  • Daniel's laugh is retarded at 0:21

  • ron should have died not snape or anyone else JUST RON

  • I wish Sirius Lupin Fred Hedwig and Dobby could come back if Ron died

I feel so evil wishing he could die in place of them especially since one of them is an owl

  • She almost put Hermione with one of the twins,I think it was Fred.That would be better for me because I dont like Ron and Im a Harry+Hermione shipper(;

  • Live long and prosper Ronald Weasley.

  • To all those who are saying "draco and hermione should be together" that would never happen in the movies because Draco is a pure-blood and Hermione is a "mud-blood" so he never would have dated her, or even admit he likes her as a friend. There is more of a chance that Draco would kill Hermione than go out with her

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 YES! And even though Draco is my favorite character, I'd think he'd rather DIE than love a Mudblood!

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 well true, but still I think that draco actually started to respect harry and his friends in the end. Not like them, but still he didn't hate them. And I also think that JK rowling said that she imagined Rose and Scorpious together. Very interesting.

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 Someone finally understands! I love you :D

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 Yes finally someone who sees! I've been trying to get a decent story from Harry Potter on Fanfiction but all I see are DracoxHermoine stories and it sickens me xP

  • @ToriCaitlyns10 That's the reason why we all hoped that they would work. Because Draco could be the first Malfoy with a "mudblood" by his side. He could be the first one who breaks the rules, wakes up and loves someone for WHO they are, not which blood status.

  • I think Ron should have died anyways just for the fun of it

  • I would have rather seen Ron die than Fred... then Hermione could be with her REAL true love... Draco!!!!! Dramione forever!!!! Bring back Fred, kill Ron so he could be with his 'Lav' and she can be with her 'Won-Won'!!!

  • i like donkeys

  • Then Hermione could have been with Draco:).(i feel so mean now)I still wouldn't want Ron to though.

  • If Ron had died it would have been huge(as a scene ) and the whole epiloge would have changed.I believe that if he had died the happy ending would be missing, i mean he is part of the golden trio, both Harry and Hermione would be devastated. And i am not even a fan of him in the books.

  • It would've been sad to have your best friend or your husband die for Harry and Hermione, but it's even more devastating to have your twin die in George's case.

You can always get a new best friend or husband, but you can't get a new twin.

Fred's death is much more tragic to say the least, haha

  • NOO, RON!<3<3<3

  • Funny enough Rowling actually planned Fred Weasleys death from the start I wish she hadn't killed him but it's true

  • Yeah, no. KILL HIM! KILL THE GINGER! (Bring back Fred, bitch.)

  • @utube090809 How dare you call our queen a bitch. You are not a potterhead but a MUGGLE.Whatever she did she made our childhood. You all just dont understand that DEATH had been a theme for the book from the beggining. Moreover, the book has already been published for 5 years so she couldnt change it even if she wanted to.

  • @rachchauhan99

Screw that, she killed FRED. FREEEDDDD. FREEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD! My favourite person, and it wasn't even nessicary, he could have lived, it made no difference!

  • I would've personally Laughed that Ron died, then cry because Fred was dead lol. I'm such a bad person haha.

  • I was really surprised she didn't shout FACK OFF *trollface*

I am Dave ! Yognaught, and I have the balls.

  • Harry needs Hermione AND Ron.

To keep him sane in the least.

  • I think it would have been interesting if Hermione had died. Harry would be absolutely nowhere without Hermione, she helps him so much. I think it would have been symbolic of this fact if she had been killed while helping Harry in the last book/movie.

  • @sirbeeguy I think you're right...kill her would be extremely interesting, because if you think about it Harry was always saved by someone else...and basically the reason Harry survived was that Narcissa said he was dead..if she said he was alive voldemort would have killed him!

  • Well I think it's great Ron survived. After all, he was one of the three main characters. The only dead one I really hoped she would survive, was Tonks. She's my favorite HP character.

  • She should have killed Ron and spared Fred. Honestly, that would have been more balanced.

  • @Samarachelle Or, killed Ginny... honestly... the one useless Mary-Sue of the books.

  • If Ron had died, I honestly probably would have bawled my eyes out for days.

  • I love Daniel :p

  • Killing Fred Weasley was a mistake

  • Yes, Ron has the least key parts in the series, but doesn't Harry need a best friend? Didn't he say in the fourth book no one could ever replace Ron? And didn't he join him and Hermione when they went on their horcrux hunt? Everyone needs a friend that is normal, still special, you know? Ron is the "friend" in the trio, if you know what I mean? oh and later "love of my life" for Hermione.

Just my opinion, after reading these comments :)))

  • i wish she'd have said what book and under what circumstances, probs wen he got poisoned in book 6 or attacked by a brain in book 5

  • Aw no not Ron. >o<

    Lucky she did not.

  • Daniel has the worlds goofiest laugh!

  • Yes, Ron did have few but key moments in the series but besides that he was rather worthless. If any of the trio were to die, Id want it to be him.

  • @theaxylum No Ron is Awesome! Or Wicked as he would say!

  • Thank god she didn't kill Ron off... but she killed Fred!!! JK how could you?!?! You shouldn't kill off ANY of the Weasleys!!!

  • I would've cried. When I was reading the seventh book I was so terrified Ron was going to die because of something I heard. I am SO glad it didn't happen. My hands were shaking when I turned the pages, lol.

  • The Harry Potter movies wouldnt even be complete without Ron!!!!!!! J.K Rowling, thank you for keeping my king alive! <3

  • what interview is this from [ please reply ]

  • Dear JK Rowling

Thank you for Harry Potter, thank you for my childhood and thank you for not killing Ron <3

  • @Abz267 I wanted ron to die :( sorry to be a kill joy though :)

  • Very dramatic killing him : / would indeed have been a chocking surprise..

HP wouldn't have been the same without Ron :S would be like removeing jack sparrow from Pirate of the Carribean : /

  • That would break my heart -'3

  • This sort of explains the brains in the fifth book...

  • I Cried when I saw Fred Dead it was so sad

  • She would go lesbian

  • Harry is the heart, Ron is soul, and Hermione is the brains the golden trio wouldn't be the same without Ron

  • If she did kill Ron, who would hermione end up with O.o
