Think about it: Bruce Wayne - multi-billionaire... dresses up in a goofy and conspicuous get-up every night to beat up thugs in order to deal with his anger issues (dead parents). Someone with that kind of money could get some really good counseling, and realize that his crime-fighting is only continuing the cycle of violence. Rich people never fight for the poor. Batman is a crazy fantasy. Would Bill Gates fight crime with a stupid boomerang?

@TheInvisibleSkyDaddy Well no Bill gates fights crime with Charity which is also what Bruce Wayne does. but Batman fights crime to Establish order in a corrupt city like Gotham. Read the Psychology of the Dark Knight it's a great book showing the mind of a vigilante.

@chuckbear Man, I've read enough REAL psychology to know that vigilantes are just as corrupt as the villains. Bruce Wayne could accomplish more if he were a Federal Agent, or a U.S. Marshall. It's just a silly story for 12 year olds. People that wear stupid suits drive me crazy. I guess that's why I liked the concept of the show, HEROES. Horrible story, but the regular Joes with powers in society was a nice touch.

@TheInvisibleSkyDaddy So have I, but it's not the MAN it's the Symbol of Batman. a federal agent can be bought and corrupted but a Symbol can't & that was the point. a symbol of hope and Justice for the ppl. which is why he was made & then help establish the outsides. it's not about a man. & yes it is a story but it's a good complex story..

Folks We really don't need to give religions credibility by testing their beleifs with science. Science is great, but unnecessary to dismiss Isis/Odin/Thor/Horus/Ra or any other god.

@troman571 True, bats are mammal's but not for your reasoning. A mammal is any warm-blooded vertebrate having the skin more or less covered with hair. Bats actually come from the sub class of mammals, rodents.
