  • So why don't you just speak us watch enthusiasts would love to hear about the movement and etc.

  • How is it a review if you don't talk!!!

  • @amirdickey1 The word "review" also means to inspect, look over, study, or examine. Reviewing doesn't have to be vocalized. The watch speaks for itself.

  • Do these light up blue or green? in the dark

  • Because of lots of good clips on 116660 here on the tube, incl yours, i decided to purchase this watch in Bangkok before heading home to Europe. Even there it wasn't cheap, about 6500 Euros I think. My first Rolex btw. High price but not regretting one moment of it, its so well engineered! Thanx for many good reviews, makes me want to buy more!

  • @pappysats Thanks for the update on your watch! You made a great choice for your first Rolex =)

  • great video,. i wish u can talk in your videos and explain about the watch and what u think about the watch. im considering to buy this watch and tell me if its a good everyday watch?

retails $10,650, with tax it comes to $11,150.

  • You do a great job on all your videos. I was very Anti Rolex until I saw this video about a year ago, and now I keep coming back to admire the incredible quality. Something your presentation and HD camera enable. Thanks for the good work. Now if only I could win the lottery...

  • @njdoughboy Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That is a wonderful comment, thanks a lot =)

  • What a behemouth! I bet you could almost dive with this sucker sans weight belt.

  • Rolex make great watches just not for diving. They all leak under pressure & make horrible dive watches.

  • my dad just died 2 days ago in a car accident and he had that rolex on when he died he loved the watch he had 7 other rolexs but this was his favorite one.

    thank you for the review

  • @EdmondDantes1934 - because at 16,000 feet below sea level, the amount of pressure exerted on the watch is a staggering 6 metric tons. at this intense pressure level, it would certainly BLOW OFF the magnifier glass on top of the crystal. You won't even see the magnifier on the original SeaDweller model, let alone this even DEEPER new version of the original classic. Hope this answers your ?. Thanks and BEST REGARDS

  • I love this watch, its so perfect for someone who thinks the 40mm Rolex diver is just alittle to small. Thank you for the video.

  • @IIIJFRIII Our pleasure, thanks for watching ;-)

  • @KeepTheTime No problem man looking foward to more of your reviews!

  • @IIIJFRIII I couldn't agree more.....I was just thinking that Rolex should make them at least 43mm (which is not too big, concidering that some have smaller wrists)

  • Im a proud owner of a DeepSea, bought at Rob Enström in Stockholm :)

  • looks good

  • The ceramic bezel is great. New crystal is better. But the writing on the inside of the watch face makes the face smaller and serves no purpose. It's gaudy, and looks like advertizing. This isn't a tennis shoe for god sakes. it's a Rolex. Someone at the complany aught to be slapped.

  • @EdmondDantes1934 I got the answer from Rolex themselves when I asked them this in 1998. They don't put a magnifier on the Sea Dweller model because the watch case itself is already much thicker than the Submariner's. Putting a date magnifier adds to the total thickness of the watch. And, in the mind of Rolex, a date magnifier makes the watch unacceptably thick.

  • @EdmondDantes1934 The Sea-Dweller line does not have the cyclops magnifier lens over the date. You can find it on Submariner watches. Note: there is a no-date version of the Submariner which also doesn't have the magnifier for obvious reasons. Some Rolex owners with the date Sub have had the cyclops lens removed from their watch crystal because they want a date but don't like the lens.

  • will this watch work after diving with it at 3800m ?

  • a viewer request: how about u examine one of the better made timexes. i know they arent ur shops cup of tea but ur scutiny of such a watch would be fascinating.

  • @sprucepantherkmt Do you have a specific one in mind?

  • @KeepTheTime hmmm....well anyone u can dig up would be cool!

  • truly one of ur finest examinations of a timepiece. plz tell us what it felt like on ur wrist: clunky, heavy or surprisingly light etc.

and i too appreciate these longer vids i find the watches presented therein fascinating and ur examination of them brilliant

  • Also the 2nd bezel or face (the one with the text "original gas valve")does not need to be there. Makes it look like a display model.

  • @elburro I second that. It is horrible looking. It looks like advertizing or something. Plus it makes the face smaller.

  • If I could ever afford it, this would be the only Rolex I would purchase. Just not a big fan.

  • no i think the amount of time spent on the other watches is definitely the right amount. more time is justified for this watch because its obviously very nice and it has a lot of features

  • Well done! i always enjoy your videos without speaking ;-) So this is what 10 grand looks like :P

  • @miclb28 Thank you

  • @KeepTheTime

    Welcome! Beautiful Watch!

  • whats next? speaking?

  • oh man you should do a comparison side by side with an older sea dweller

  • i'd be happy if everything you uploaded was as long and thorough as this
