I went to both South Carolina and Cross Creek. Both experiences taught me soo much however I do disagree with their methods and I believe that the concept was pure hearted but the staff/owners/greed/ and misguidance led these programs to become what they are today. My brother went to this place for three months and he told me it is the most corrupt place he's ever been to. Beatings, extreme force, outrageous policies.
He said there was a administrator that did cavity searches on some boys for no reason.
Also, student letters were read before there were sent and if they contained writing about the corrupt administration they were thrown out.

I was sent here it is a terrible place to be. A kid in my family was so badly abused his collar bone was broken in several places. They said it was a high school football injury because his file said he was on the football team... what they didn't know was he was the team manager! FUCK THIS SCHOOL

I went to both South Carolina and Cross Creek. Both experiences taught me soo much however I do disagree with their methods and I believe that the concept was pure hearted but the staff/owners/greed/ and misguidance led these programs to become what they are today. Storage containers for misguided teens and toubled youth.

I was at Ivy Ridge for 1.5 yrs and though it was the worst experience of my life I can not agree with your video. This is so overridden with mockery and pathos loaded verses, accompanied by the music, it almost seems like a parody-not a tribute. Unless that was what your intention was, to make a parody of the situation, I suggest you seriously consider heavily revising this video or removing it. even though you have a very warped view on this school.this video had me rollin.i was in for 2 years and yes they helped me feel better about myself for about six months but once that riot happened everything fell to shit and i came out worse then when i walked in. i know i'm not the only one, 13 14 year old kids would come in didn't even know what drugs looked like..came out knowing how to do every one in the book! they didn't care they just wanted money and they got 80k from my parents

the more i read these comments i have come to the conclusion that the maker is retarded. i mean in the 27 months of me being there, no one died. sure people got beat up, but hey lifes tough sometimes. dont piss in someone elses cherios. and also people did not get sent there for skipping school once or detention. try years of drug use, violence. for me, and alot of my friends in the ridge, it was here or prison.

I was there for 27 months. it was all bullshit. people got jumped, and the staff wuz in on it. i wuz somewhat liked, or just dealt with, so i could do whatever i wanted, including shit wit da girls side. staffing seminars was a joke, if i liked u, u got through, if i didnt, well screw u. plus we could do whtever wit da other girls staffing. yeah despite being horrible, it was some fun.

he recently helped it get closed down.. stuff happened up there which wasnt documented or released to the news. Several riots and lots of fishy behavior.
My brother went into there at 15 years old.. almost a whole year he stayed in there, and when he got out.. nothing changed. He is currently 18 and locked in jail.
These boarding schools arent worth the money to be honest
