If you have an extra afternoon or so, just ask a Missouri senior citizen about Jesse James.

When I was a kid, several old people knew people who interacted with Jesse James directly. Many of their tales were positive, but not all of them. I got the impression that when he was among his people, he didn't hide in the least. Everyone knew he was in the area, and everyone protected him from the authorities. He supposedly was especially kind to kids, & made sure his gang treated them very well.

Old Dan tucker was a Southern Marching tune, during Dixieland's Rebellion from the USA, now it's largely a kids song (just Like Oh Susanna)

exactly but so did "Dixieland"(The Song not place(Even though the place was before the war too) so it doesn't really matter.

Interesting fact Dixieland was Written by an African-Yankee. though theres debate whether he was a native Southren or a native NYer, and even some speculation he was a Former Slave who missed Dixieland

The Song latter would become one of the 3 unofficial Anthems of the CSA, and later the uncontested Traditional Anthem of Dixieland and the Southren Culture.

I agree with you. Bruce has Rockabilly, Blues, Bluegrass, Cajun, Tex-Mex, Spaghetti Western, Folk, Stadium Rock, Roots Rock, Soul, Jersey Shore Sound and a lot more. How many Def Leppard got? 80's Hair Metal and Pop-country when they teamed up with Taylor Swift? That dude from Def Leppard should be shinin' the Boss' shoes!
