I like how you dishonestly frame it as "his first NHL fight". I suppose that George Laraque was a newbie to fighting when he had his first NHL fight? Hell no, because he'd had plenty of experience at it before he even joined the NHL. The real comparison is how many fights had the two players been involved in in their entire career. Kostitsyn had 2 fights in the AHL last year the most Mark Stuart has ever had in a season is 3 so much for plenty of experience eh?. Oh, so we have Kostitsyn's big two fights worth of lifetime experience going up against a guy who's fought more than that. Not only that, but your guy takes three chops with his stick, checks him when he doesn't have the puck, and then goes apeshit over a little lovetap with the stick with a guy who weighs 20 lbs less than him. doubt that if Kostitsyn had 2 fights last year they were the first two of his career but anyway the point is everything stuart did he did while the puck was in the zone kostitsyn waits for the puck to be gone and stuart to have his back to him b4 he retaliates. stuart was working kostitsyn over hab retaliats while stuart was skating away and then stuart beat his ass, kostitsyn is a bitch and got handled like one. And 20 lbs in a hockey fight isnt uncommon at all your really grabbing at straws.

BAH! If you throw a stick around, someone is bound to get upset and want to kick some arse! I'm a Canadiens fan, through and through, but it's part of the game. They both got what they deserved, especially Kostitsyn. If you want to draw a penalty, be ready to get hurt.
