i was about 12 years old, when i first heard this song. i thought don had a tremendous voice. i've got all the lyrics for his songs, and love to sing them myself. whatever song don would sing, he seemed to burst right in with that great voice of his.
Great rendition of this great song. Jane Froman's rendition is great too. I always associate this song with her, but I must say that this Don Cornell version is exceptional.
@TheThroney Thanks a Lot, I always love to put these old songs on and find out there's still people who loves them has much as I do. My wife says I'm stuck in the fifties. I guess she's right if it was just up to me I would be driving a "Hudson Hornet"
A golden oldie in its true sense - a real memento - have heard it when I was little- Ricky Nelson had its own version as well - really appreciate your uploading it.
Nothing like these singers & songs. Love it brings back memories

@gregvarley123 Did anyone help you, yet? I only saw this, today, Oct.3rd.
Anyway, if you google "My Mother's Pearls" you should get a list. On the right, there's amazon.com, where the record is offered for sale.

@Corrie121 Jane's version was great but to me this song belongs to Diana Shore.
Back in the early forties she was the first female singer to have a number one hit on the U.S. Pop charts and it was this song.
