  • The man was a true professional and genious. He never opened his opry portion show with the same song. He also was the only country singer to start and finish with only one lable. What a sweet person, he is greatly missed.

  • Brilliant video, Hank is such a watchable character, this is great footage of him and the band. He is my biggest influence at the moment, I can't stop wanting to learn more and more of his songs.

  • Yes, it was videotaped in black and white. ABC did not go to full color in prime time until the '66-'67 season, I believe. Maybe the only color show they had in prime time from 1960-'66 was The Flintstones, besides specials, but am not sure.
