The M&N blog is very juvenile with their constant mocking of Larry but there are credible articles among their entries. Larry himself has been just as juvenile with his violent outbursts, "I blew Obama" videos and other shenanigans on his own blogs. Where is the evidence for Larry's claims? That is what the media is asking for and that is why he is not getting the attention he craves.
They didn't suppress the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal before any of the details were known. They blew the story wide open. The MSM is all about inflating and fomenting buzz around a story. They aren't in the business of sorting through evidence. Even when there is no known credible evidence, it would be just as easy to say as much and still tell the story. How can you suggest that this is "what the media is asking for" when they have indicated nothing but complete silence?
If that were true why has Fox News thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Obama? How many stories have come out about Obama that were quickly debunked yet still linger in political conciousness? If anything the silence on the Sinclair story by the MSM shows the extent to which he is viewed to lack credibility. In Lewinsky's case you have an intern who's White House employment and personal contact with Bill Clinton can be verified. Bill had been accused by other women of affairs by now.....
Witnesses backed Lewinsky. The blue dress was known and later revealed. Sinclair's story is nowhere near comparable to that. He has no proof of ever meeting Obama. No witnesses, a history of criminal dishonesty and too many inconsistencies to be deemed credible. For the media to freeze him out you must either presume a vast conspiracy to suppress him which defies all logic or the guy has no ounce of credibility. If Sinclair's story were in the least bit credible I'd lean to conspiracy. It's not.
Right now Larry's story is at the stage of tabloid fodder. Tabloids will print anything.
MSM networks have a reputation to uphold. Fox News is in enough trouble with the Obama campaign as it is. This story has already been investigated and a press conference held. It has no credibility. If the limo driver came out tommorow, backed Larry and proved he knew Obama the story would be the headline of every news station. He hasn't because he likely doesn't exist.
msm has no credibility, no reputation, after this election cycle. Theyre all shot to hell due to the Obama nuthugging. Yeah, I'm sure Fox news is real worried about being "in trouble" with barry's goon campaign. Amazingly Fox has emerged as the most unbiased news org in '08. If a driver exists who was a witness, his life as he knows it is over if he comes forward. Crazy-assed Obots threaten people who just have anti-obama blogs. this guy would have a target on his back for the rest of his life.
If Larry is telling the truth why would the driver help him at all? Isn't he supposed to be Obama's friend? I'm sure he'd love to rat out his own friend and tell the world he let a client purchase and use cocaine. Fact is Larry claimed he was in constant contact with the driver who agreed to back his story but when pressed by the media to give them the info the driver mysteriously goes into hiding. Sounds like Larry is lying to me.
What press conference? And if the limo driver came out, it still wouldn't be a headline. They would say it's another guy making up a story. There would just be two "kooks" instead of one.
Obama has no alibi to prove where he was on those days. Sinclair has taken and passed polygraphs. Now, I'm not saying Sinclair is necessarily right. What I'm interested in is the fact that there has been a complete media blackout on this story. The media will still cover big stories even if they preface them by saying it's purely speculation at this point. So why the silence on this? Could Sinclair be full of shit? Certainly, but that doesn't change the fact that this is highly suspicious.
Sinclair failed those polygraphs according to the experts who scored them then claimed Axelrod paid off Whitehouse to rig them with no proof. Now he claims polygraph testing is not credible upon the advice of a man who warned him they weren't. He rejected the advice of this same man prior to taking them. You seem to only look at the issue the way you want it to be seen and ignore certain facts.
The media block is perfectly rational. When Larry provides corroborating evidence we can talk about conspiracies. For now Obama needs no alibi for a claim that has no corraborating evidence to support it. It is in his best political interests to ignore this. You can criticize the media all you want but the truth is that until Larry provides credible evidence for his story he isn't going to be taken seriously.
I don't know whether Sinclair is telling the truth or not. If someone held a gun to my head and asked me to make a guess, I'd say Obama did it based purely on how sick the elite are. However, corroborating evidence has virtually nothing to do with the fact that the media won't touch it. They jump all over stories that are hearsay, speculation, hysteria, and opinion. The fact that this case has generated so much online interest is enough to warrant saying SOMETHING about it, even if untrue.
Stories leak out all the time but are usually based on something verifiable. Like the Madrassa story. Obama did go to a school in Indonesia it just wasn't a radical Islamic school. Fox News was heavily criticized by most networks for the story and the Obama campaign boycotted them. Bad journalism has its consequences. Even Roger of TalkStarRadio said that when he tried to promote the story with bigger radio shows they said it needed credibility before they stuck their neck out for it.
That's my point. FOX has been buried several times over for producing bogus stories and it STILL hasn't deterred them. Why? Because all the bogus stories and lies they have put out don't rock the (big) boat very much in the grand scheme of things. It's "fair game" to bad mouth his priest or his middle name or his school in Indonesia, but if you bring out smoking crack and getting sucked off, his campaign is over. The elite have too much invested in this guy.
If Fox were worried about Obama's political career they would not be smearing him. If Obama loses this election his buzz will die down. If a scandal of this magnitude grows legs the MSM would have a field day. Do you know how much money they could make off of coverage of this story? Anyway nothing I say is going to convince you that the MSM are being rational by ignoring Larry. Believe whatever you want. For me Larry's criminal record, lack of evidence and glaring inconsistencies discredit him.
FOX ISN'T worried about Obama's political career. You have the fake talking head "conservatives" who's job is to play off false left and right debates. What you don't get is just how closely the MSM works with big government. What they are most interested in is long-term control and power. Yeah, they could get some huge pub by running the Sinclair story, but they won't because Obama has been groomed for the presidency. Money can be made from a lot of things, but they don't want to rock the boat.

It flies in the face of everything I know about journalism and the history of political coverage. For me the fact that Larry has no credible evidence is a perfectly rational reason for the media to ignore him. The glaring inconsistencies in his story are reason enough not to believe him. That's the way I see it. You're entitled to your own opinion.
For every false story that grows legs there are dozens of others that lack so much credibility they get blocked out. One of those is Larry's story. No amount of internet buzz is going to make the MSM run this story. Too many holes have been poked in Larry's story for serious journalists to see it or him as credible. Larry hasn't provided a single shred of credible evidence that he is telling the truth and there are so many inconsistencies that suggest he is lying.

Especially in light of Obama's admitted drug use. Sinclair states many facts and details that would be hard to duplicate if he were lying. Sinclair may be telling the truth.

Larry himself has been just as juvenile with his violent outbursts, "I blew Obama" videos and other shenanigans on his own blogs. Huffinton Post and Politico have also reported on Larry. Court documents of his criminal background have been posted on those sites. The credibility of M&N is not at issue. The transcripts from Larry's radio interviews, his lies and criminal record listed there speak for themselves. It doesn't matter how juvenile they act. Inconsistencies in his story are inconsistencies and that is what needs to be looked at.

Larry's story would have a major impact on the Presidential Election. Debunking the Bigfoot hoax gives us something to laugh at. Your Sinclair is a criminal argument is a non-issue and here's why;
1. Not a stretch for most young Americans to climb into a limo with a stranger to party and snort/smoke dope.
2.Obama admitted to using drugs. That makes him a criminal.
3. Obama conducted financial affairs with Rezko knowing he was being investigated, so he hobnobs with suspected criminals.
4. Sinclair hasn't been convicted in Co nor DE. Innocent until proven guilty.

The people who don't know who Obama is and what he stands for by now either aren't paying attention or don't want to want to know. The latter follow what they want to believe instead of the facts. What I know for a fact about Obama and his political stances makes me confident that he will be a great President. If that isn't good enough for the haters that's their problem.

Regardless of his alleged substance abuse/gay sexual relations, I stopped supporting this candidate when I looked at his voting record in an effort to see where he stood on topics. What I found was that he voted "present" for most of the bills that he voted on. Thus, I couldn't get a good picture of this candidates beliefs. I am voting for McCain because with him I at least know where he stands.

What evidence did Jennifer Flowers have? So much of our courts deal with "He says, she says" issues. How do they get beyond the paucity of evidence? A great deal is based on credibility. Credibility is not solely that of character. It also has to do with the logic of the issue at hand. Review the video - that happens to be, and succinctly put, evidence that could be used in arguing a case. Where are the cell phone records? Where are the damn cell phone records??

Flowers had witnesses and recordings of intimate phone conversations with Bill. Larry has NO witnesses and NO evidence that he was EVER in direct contact with Obama. The burden of proof is on Larry. The Obama campaign has ignored Larry because he has NOTHING to substantiate his story. Why provide phone records to debunk a story that has nothing to support it? Around 15% of Americans STILL believe Obama is a muslim when that claim defies all logic and has been debunked. You know. I had pretty much written Larry off as a flake....until I heard he had been arrested coming out of a friggin press conference on this.
Now....I'm not so sure. There is just so much weirdness surrounding Obama (example: the photoshopped, obvious forged birth certificate posted on the Daily Kos and Obama's "smear" website).
Things are so bad that a HUGE portion of his own party is questioning his credibility as a candidate. Democratic Convention will be REAL interesting this year.

I know that people are biased. I try to look at things objectively. I've given Larry the benefit of a doubt that he "might" be telling the truth and based on all of the facts there are serious holes in his story and questions of credibility that lead me to believe that he is lying.

His history of criminal dishonesty hurts his credibility. He has no evidence and has changed his story several times. There are too many holes in his story. What lends credibility to this story for me - is the fact that not one of the major news outlets cable or network have even touched the story!!! I just saw a story on MSNBC about Obama supporters who are changing their middle names to Hussein - but not one reporter will touch this story - Why? Witnesses backed Lewinsky. The blue dress was known and later revealed. Sinclair's story is nowhere near comparable to that. He has no proof of ever meeting Obama. No witnesses, a history of criminal dishonesty and too many inconsistencies to be deemed credible. For the media to freeze him out you must either presume a vast conspiracy to suppress him which defies all logic or the guy has no ounce of credibility. If Sinclair's story were in the least bit credible I'd lean to conspiracy. It's not.

Obama has no alibi to prove where he was on those days. Sinclair has taken and passed polygraphs. Now, I'm not saying Sinclair is necessarily right. What I'm interested in is the fact that there has been a complete media blackout on this story. The media will still cover big stories even if they preface them by saying it's purely speculation at this point. So why the silence on this? Could Sinclair be full of shit? Certainly, but that doesn't change the fact that this is highly suspicious.

Sinclair failed those polygraphs according to the experts who scored them then claimed Axelrod paid off Whitehouse to rig them with no proof. Now he claims polygraph testing is not credible upon the advice of a man who warned him they weren't. He rejected the advice of this same man prior to taking them. For now Obama needs no alibi for a claim that has no corraborating evidence to support it. It is in his best political interests to ignore this. I don't know whether Sinclair is telling the truth or not. If someone held a gun to my head and asked me to make a guess, I'd say Obama did it based purely on how sick the elite are. However, corroborating evidence has virtually nothing to do with the fact that the media won't touch it. They jump all over stories that are hearsay, speculation, hysteria, and opinion. The fact that this case has generated so much online interest is enough to warrant saying SOMETHING about it, even if untrue.

Stories leak out all the time but are usually based on something verifiable. Like the Madrassa story. Obama did go to a school in Indonesia it just wasn't a radical Islamic school. Fox News was heavily criticized by most networks for the story and the Obama campaign boycotted them. Bad journalism has its consequences. Even Roger of TalkStarRadio said that when he tried to promote the story with bigger radio shows they said it needed credibility before they stuck their neck out for it.

For me Larry's criminal record, lack of evidence and glaring inconsistencies discredit him.

FOX ISN'T worried about Obama's political career. You have the fake talking head "conservatives" who's job is to play off false left and right debates. What you don't get is just how closely the MSM works with big government. What they are most interested in is long-term control and power. Yeah, they could get some huge pub by running the Sinclair story, but they won't because Obama has been groomed for the presidency. Money can be made from a lot of things, but they don't want to rock the boat.

Passerby23, believe that if you want to. As for me I don't buy the idea that the media is conspiring to suppress Larry's story. It flies in the face of everything I know about journalism and the history of political coverage. For me the fact that Larry has no credible evidence is a perfectly rational reason for the media to ignore him. The glaring inconsistencies in his story are reason enough not to believe him. That's the way I see it. You're entitled to your own opinion.

For every false story that grows legs there are dozens of others that lack so much credibility they get blocked out. One of those is Larry's story. No amount of internet buzz is going to make the MSM run this story. Too many holes have been poked in Larry's story for serious journalists to see it or him as credible. Larry hasn't provided a single shred of credible evidence that he is telling the truth and there are so many inconsistencies that suggest he is lying.
