Creatine monohydrate can't sit it changes into creatinine. In that form its useless. And the carbs your using aren't slow released they are 2 dextrose molocules (pardon my English) they are quick. you said something really dumb... you said no matter how much you take of that fat you will not store it as fat. that is 100% not true. no matter what type of fat 1g=9calories. if your taking in over your daily maintainence of calories no matter from fats/proteins/carbs... now matter how lean good for you they are. if you take in over the amount you burn off your going to store it as fat.

@ sosaj64. Creatine is an amino acid that increses how efficiently your body breaks down and uses protiens. it is recomended to only use 4-8 grams a day like i said in my last comment it makes sense to take it when it will have the most effect as not to waste it.
Take out the amino acids and creatine your body wont use them. Instead take them about half an hour to an hour post workout with whey protien and carbs e.g. a bannana. Then take protien just before bed with milk and a small spoon of honey (the majority of cellular regeneration happens at night when you are asleep) the milk will make the protien digest slower so not to waste it and the honey is going to help you sleep. In 6 months i went from benching 70 pounds to benching over 400 pounds.

I have been a bodybuilder for over three years now and I can say increasing your intake of monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fats can help burn fat. Also 100-300 mg of caffeine two times a day is recommended because it provides energy for the gym and it helps burn fat (increases metabolic rate and is also a type of diuretic). He is completely right. Research your facts before criticizing someone, please.

@vjlord Well first off I would recommend saving up a good chunk of money... Then, go out and buy a large tub of protein. I would say Ultimate Nutrition Isomass Xtreme is very good for bulking up without gaining too much body fat... That, or VPX Syngex for a low carbohydrate protein (about 3g per serving I believe). Intake 20 grams of whey protein upon awakening, 20 grams 30 minutes before the gym, and 40 grams within 45 minutes of the last set at the gym.
@vjlord I would also recommend creatine monohydrate, about 2.5 grams before the gym (30-60 minutes before) and 2.5 grams after the gym. This will not only increase size and strength, but you will notice it is a better cycle than following the traditional "load and deload" phases, seeing as you can continually take it. Even once you stop taking it, you will not notice any decrease in muscle size. Other supplements for size would be BCAA's, fish oil, tribulus terrestris, and beta-alanine.

actually buying all of these supplements separately and them mixing them together in one shake is a lot more expensive than if you just buy a good quality supplement.....but how do you know what works and what doesn't?....read the labels to see which have better ingredients and do some research..

Hi TheMuscleNerd. I'm quite sure that Maltodextrin has a very high glycemic index, maybe even higher than dextrose. I use it in my post-workout shake along with dextrose, BCAAs, protein and creatine.
You dont have to load Monohydrate Creatine, The proper amount is approximately .03g/kg of body mass. Loading creatine only wastes your money. Plus if your a meat eater you get creatine that way.

When you buy in bulk, it actually only costs about 5 bucks a month to make what he is making. His book is great, I've been making my own supplements since the late 90's trust me you get overcharged at retail. When you buy in bulk, you can get about 5 years worth of creatine monohydrate (to much I know but using it as an example) for 200 bucks, that would usually cost thousands at retail. I recommend his book to everyone, and anyone who is a serious lifter. Amatuers pay retail!

Great video. Very informative and straight forward. The only part I was confused about is when he said maltodextrin is a slow-digesting sugar. Actually maltodextin has a GI rating of 100+ meaning it stimulates blood glucose levels rather rapidly. It's considered more of a fast-digesting carb. It's usually used for post-workout purposes.
I will stick up for Jeff. I've used his workout plan and his Home Made Supplement plan, and this stuff works. You can save a TON of money by following his advice in the program. I'm now 210lbs with around 6% bodyfat. I used to buy the expensive supplements a long time ago and didn't see that much difference. His plan really has saved me money, and his Optimum Anabolics program (which I didn't pay for, sorry Jeff) has really worked for me wonders.
There are some VERY good bulk suppliers who ship all over the world for next to nothing...yes, even Ireland. They're more obscure...but they're out there.

I cannot believe the amount of negative comments here. I watched the video, I got the book, I bought the supplements in bulk (so now I do have and will make sure I keep a stock of.. BCAA's in my cupboard!). 3 weeks later, 7 pounds of lean muscle heavier and I'm loving this shit!! Thanks Jeff, you the man!
On a sidenote, anyone in the UK taking potassium bicarb in your workout drink? How can I get a hold of that stuff????

actually buying all of these supplements separately and them mixing them together in one shake is a lot more expensive than if you just buy a good quality supplement.....but how do you know what works and what doesn't?....read the labels to see which have better ingredients and do some research..

i like this. I think we are beeing screwed by those supplement companies. I'm going to give this a try, but i'm certainly going to add some L-Arginine in there too. Too many people try to find the miracle in a bottle solution and the more expensive the solution the more it is credible...pfff i'm ashamed to have been had like that.

Hi TheMuscleNerd. I'm quite sure that Maltodextrin has a very high glycemic index, maybe even higher than dextrose. I use it in my post-workout shake along with dextrose, BCAAs, protein and creatine.

You dont have to load Monohydrate Creatine, The proper amount is approximately .03g/kg of body mass. Loading creatine only wastes your money. Plus if your a meat eater you get creatine that way.

When you buy in bulk, it actually only costs about 5 bucks a month to make what he is making. His book is great, I've been making my own supplements since the late 90's trust me you get overcharged at retail. When you buy in bulk, you can get about 5 years worth of creatine monohydrate (to much I know but using it as an example) for 200 bucks, that would usually cost thousands at retail. I recommend his book to everyone, and anyone who is a serious lifter. Amatuers pay retail!

Well he may not look the best but ... he does know what he is talking about. He is a very educated man ...although i do agree that that will all cost at least 30 bucks to get that crap and then you have to make it everyday and ... it doesnt seem worth the hassel... may i recomend nos pump by bodyfortress at walmart... its twenty bucks and has 30 servings... i feel good after taking it really powerful workouts

Great video. Very informative and straight forward. The only part I was confused about is when he said maltodextrin is a slow-digesting sugar. Actually maltodextin has a GI rating of 100+ meaning it stimulates blood glucose levels rather rapidly. It's considered more of a fast-digesting carb. It's usually used for post-workout purposes.

I will stick up for Jeff. I've used his workout plan and his Home Made Supplement plan, and this stuff works. You can save a TON of money by following his advice in the program. I'm now 210lbs with around 6% bodyfat. I used to buy the expensive supplements a long time ago and didn't see that much difference. His plan really has saved me money, and his Optimum Anabolics program (which I didn't pay for, sorry Jeff) has really worked for me wonders.
