The appeal and love for Freddie was that we all wish we could be like him. He was so uninhibited and wasn't afraid to be himself. Aside from talent, we just don't have the nerve, society tells us to act a certain way, but we secretly wish we could do whatever crazy whim we'd like. You have to admire the man for that.

@Kalabanano you dumbass, that shit you put on your page about nobody and somebody was stupid as shit and you need to shut your dumb greenlandish mouth.
That was NOT Freddie Mercury. It was an impersonator. If you couldn't tell by the voice or facial structure alone, loop the video at approximately 3:00. This person does NOT have the signature overbite of Freddie Mercury.
@chomik115 Yeah ... But it doesn't make him a bad artist. I love Queen's 80s concerts not 70s. Freddie's voice is amazing in the concerts from the 80s. Seems like his moustache added something to his vocals LOL !
You are correct. This was after a string of concerts and a long tour. He had nodules. But still, his worst he ever sounded is better than most singers
Saludos.
the one and only......yea on the road for over a year singing 2 hours every other night i dont care who u r ur voice will go out!!!FRED IS A GOD !!!long live queens music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe this was the last leg of the jazz/live killers tour. And with the pace Queen was going, even the best singers would have voice problems eventually.
Yeah, Freddie lost his voice throughout the whole show. I'm surprised Queen allowed this to be released. I don't know if he was sick or not but even John Deacon jumped in and sang to help him out.
The Japanese market is very welcome to non standard and special things like this, i.e. not overdubbed in studio authentic live show with Freddie experiencing voice problems.
Nobody could pull of sitting on a man dressed as superman wearing a sparkly red outfit like Freddie can!!!! They are the greatest band ever because they can pull of stuff like that!
You can really tell Freddie's really getting tierd in his voice, at this time of the show. But he could sing like this permanent and still be the greatest artist this worlds has ever seen :P
did it ever a care to you queen at this point may have done lot of touring and freddies voice may have been sore because of the 100s of places they did . hes only human
in this live in Japan in 1979, I think there's no other live performance where you can see Freddie in such difficulty with his voice. I heard he had once very serious problems with his voice, and I guess it was because of this night
That's hilarious! When the guitar comes in and it's in a completeley different key to the one Freddie's been singing in. (An easy mistake if you've no reference pitch.)
Obviously, you're a little light on your Queen knowledge as this is one of his tamer outfits. Obviously queer performers have always brought us great entertainment by pushing the boundaries, and I thank them for that as this is one important part of the performing arts and Rock'n Roll's always been a rather straight domain anyway (imho).
and thanx for pointing that out. i just started to get into Queen and was still learning stuff about that. He does have an amazing voice though. that guy's got range! he can really hit the notes and Brian can shred on his guitar!
alright, i posted this when i was like, a little retard. i knew he was bisexuall, but i tend to blurt out stupid things. so, i was a little prick back then(8 months ago), but now, im more mature than that. i still think his out fit was a little to creepy for my taste.
Yea whoever said he didnt sing very good on this tour was right, he doesnt have the range or sings it too fast, definitley a gay costume ahha still good musicians!
