the northern and southern lights are very pretty but they will take your breath away in real life. If you ever get the chance to view them please do so as you will be humbled and impressed at natures light show

I LOVE this song!!! I've been listening to Mannheim Steamroller since I was a little girl. When my husband and I first bought this CD and I heard this song, I fell in love with it. They are fairly common in the polar regions but can be somewhat rare in much of the U.S. (except for Alaska of course). From Nebraska, I see from one to as many as four auroral displays per year. The last one I saw was late in July 2009. They often follow major solar flares or coronal mass ejections by a couple of days.
