@doobiesmoke15 No. The American Coon Hound is a breed of domestic dog so named because it's used to hunt raccoons. The Japanese raccoon dog is a "primitive" wild dog so-named because it resembles a raccoon. It's actually BANNED in America, as an introduced population in Europe has become too invasive.
