Kudos to Tommy for being willing to just play rhythm behind Zoe when he could have been showing off. He stepped aside and let her have a turn in the spotlight. Yes, her playing is not out of the world, but she did a good job and will most likely improve with age. Especially nowadays young people need to be encouraged to play instruments instead of Guitra Hero or Grand Theft Auto. I want to be able to hear live musicians until the day I die.

I'm all for encouraging the younger generation to play guitar over guitar hero, but to put them on a pedestal like this a bit much. Really, she isn't that good. I'm not trying to bash, but I have friends of mine that at the same age would totally blow her away, maybe even give Mr. Emmanuel a lesson or two. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but I just don't see what all the fascination is about.

@plinkytx Are you all that familiar with Tommy's ability? He was merely accompanying Zoe during this. He is tremendous talent & a great entertainer too. Enjoyed his shows in Perth & in California, always impresses. I suppose it depends on the style of preference for Zoe, I got a surf guitar vibe during this, although Tommy has many surprising variations of style & technique. I guess the next thing to do would be getting your friends to put something on YouTube, eh? Look forward ...

mentioned just questioning your familiarity with the musicians.

So with that, why don't you retract the ugliness? Unless that

is your mode of operation then take it to the road else put up

a video that indicates you or your friends could "teach them

a lesson". Your critical approach really needs adjustment

if you have the abililty. Understand?

I saw Zoe perform at a Guitars For Life fundraiser about 5 or six years ago and was very impressed. I got to speak with her a bit backstage. She is a very sweet young lady. Keep up the good work Zoe!
