Tommy Cooper is the comedian EVER with "most FUNNY BONE" in his appearance.
The mimic, the timing, the "interrupting himself with absolutely non-important issues", his moves, his "in and out" of the story, etc etc, that many times are MORE fun than the joke itself. Im affraid, if you dont see this, you have no sense of European/Brittish humour,,,, AT ITS VERY BEST !!!.
@azzz999m Hyenas have the tendency to make sounds as it appears that the hyena is laughing. So most likely the monkey didn't jump in because as the lion was throwing him around, the hyena was laughing, even though he didn't want to.
Actually, it would have been much better if, instead of doing his little creepy laugh, he suddenly burst into tears every minute or so and screamed something at the audience like "and you can all fuck yourselves!!!" or "fuck me, I said FUCK ME, you bitches!!!" before straightening up, smiling and carrying on with the next trick ( and thus repeating the cycle). I would then find him funny.
I HATE HOW PEOPLE LAUGH WHEN HE DOESNT SAY SOMETHING FUNNY AND ITS NOWEHERE NEAR THE PUNCHLINE FFS!
