  • i have now played that game for 7 months .. have spend 1300 dollar and have shit ... i quit now ! .. its a wast of money or lifetime or both .. im done .. its a plain and simple a scam .. everbody who thinks differnt is a idiot with no life .. all the blabla that somebody plays it false is bs !!

  • @n00g75 It all depends on how you play, If you play for just fun, you will reach a point like you. If you play to get rich, you will get no were, If you play for fun but you take control of your finances like you do in rl then you have fun and earn money. My mentor is currently worth $2000 yet he only put in $350 over the past 5 years, mostly in his first year.

  • @n00g75 If you spend that much in only 7 months of playing then you've made a critical mistake. I have made that same mistake when I first started, loosing just under 1.5k in less than 6 months because I tried to do too much too early. It has been three years since then and now my account is remaining constant at 5k from the original 1.7k depo in total. In fact, it is slowly growing still.

  • SO COOL GRAPHICS *_*

  • @johan565656 You are a sad sack.

  • it's shit, a scam, everything is retardedly overpriced

  • Entropia is a scam to wash money from retarded nerdas, everyone knows it

  • I basically went here after hearing about some idiot payed $330000 for a virtual item.

  • @UncleSamProduction It wasn't an item, it was an Asteroid Space Resort called Club Neverdie, which rakes in an average of 10,000 USD monthly (that's real world cash) from hunting and mining taxes. The owners of it are pretty rich now, to say the least.

    one pimp mother fucker

  • "As you can see, Project Entropia and life on Calypso offer so much more than your boring life on earth"

    what the fuck?

  • did anyone hear about the Entopia Guinness Gaming Record? - guy named Erik Novak paid 330.000$ for a building...

  • And don't even think u can make money......... u can lose all your money in that game......... but make money....... naaahhhh.

  • In real life u make money easier than in Entropia............. very stupid game........ its actually no fun at all.

  • or just play minecraft...

  • @raidmax98 I looked at that, it looks like something from the mid 90's that you build

  • @wmc1982

and you would be right, but a game that sold over 2mill copys when it was in its beta is a deal all on its own.

    gota love minecraft <3

  • This game is fun ive played it but its EXTREMELY expensive

  • i never understand what is so good about Entropia other than a couple of person claimed to have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars from the game

  • @TweFoji its the challenge.. unfortunately as you tell its win only for the very few.. still like to play it

  • fail

  • 3:06 - DINO RAPE

  • this game looks like shit, but I heard stories of people getting lots of money from selling real estate in this game...is that true? I just find it hard to believe there are people willing to spend thousands on virtual property.

  • @chucknorrisgawd this video is very old and prized from some competition back then. it has good flow i admit. the present day game looks like 20 years more updated, trust me. its using cryengine, and very much different. search 'EU Still Havent Found ' from youtube for example

  • @chucknorrisgawd and yes it is true, some ppl are handling 100k's of USD, having land areas worth that, and some VERY FEW actually living off with the tax they get from other players.. it is all true, just don't rush in and think you will do the same, this is a very hard game, like anything having something to do with real money.

  • @Torsti2003z this game still claims the record for virtual property sold, i think it was 300+ k usd, and the reason it was payed was that it is a very popular hunting and especially mining spot

  • Fail.

  • yes i said robots there hear theyre queer

  • @brantbkr watch the robots!

  • im saying it again this is so discustingly sad!

  • this is so sad O_O

  • @S3tekh old

  • still at its time perfectly good play with the 'official' entropia broadcast... but those times are long past.

  • Second Life is buggy as hell. But this thing is just a game. Nothing more.

  • > 1:07 perhaps even find love

    Those are two hookers :|

  • If you are a mmorpg fan in the traditional sense and want to have real fun, go play some games with quests and lore, there are tons of free to play good mmorpgs. This game makes you concentrating on making money unless you are solid enough to avoid temptations to trash your money in, but considering the time spent and effort to learn things, unless you enjoy it as casual time killer, I suggest to put efforts to learn some real world skills and go freelance in real life

  • @Anifei as i said this video is ages old.. just check how it looks today. if how it 'looks' is importantant.. now, the important part is that you rats stay away :) welcome to stay (i'm oldtimer from 2005), but don't expect anything but kicks to butt when you wander around wishing for 300k usd landarea begging for nickles on streets. i will kick you too, and with pleasure :) you are welcome

  • @Torsti2003z Well, I play rpgs for more than 25 years and I know the system in this one, basically old timers and the company cash in the money of all the naive players with some cash to spare, plain simple :) once Diablo 3 will introduce the real money auction house at similia, and all the mmorpg followers in the next years, every naive chicken will have enough choice with better gameplay

  • I'm sorry but the comment you were hoping to find here was replaced by LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @GoreTorn16 :D

  • 0:30

finally, an mmorpg with original dances.

  • I see they updraded to the Crytek 2 Engline. Beat that!

  • wow, this is horrible...

  • @40elkie how would you define a "real" life?

  • @40elkie Only losers with no real life would say that about a video they searched for them self.

  • Robots vs. dinosaurs vs space pirates. The battle to end all battles.

  • most rubbish game i've seen in years O.o

  • @skunkredhair it runs on cryengine 2 this video is from2007 and its... good and bad in their own ways xD and its a game .. a game about life.. or see it as i do.. its like a game within a game:D cuz you're like earning money in rl and then you have to spend some ingame to gamble ingame with that money (:

  • @skunkredhair the graphics have been improved now, it looks 10 times better

  • lol DANGER! DANGGER! ROBOTS ARE INVADING ONCE AGAIN IN CYLPSO!!! GO GET THE CRYENGINE2 AND BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA DEM

  • @MrDexium It is spelled Calypso, idiot.

  • THIS EQUALS EPIC ACITON so i mean this game sounds like Halo Reach because robots equal DAMN EPIC

  • COOL STORY BRO

  • Funny how they talk about profit almost every ten seconds of this video, and to profit in entropia is simply fucking hard.

  • I love Entropia Universe I started about 8 months ago and doing very well i don't withdrawl i keep building up better and better i become each day and i have found many roads i can take now to make a profit to build up faster. You just have to figure out your playing style and what your likes and dislikes are and find people to help you it is very complex game. Im still learning new stuff everyday I never get bored always some thing i can do.

  • can anyone help me on this game?

  • FOREVER ALONE

  • @johan565656 yeeeeaaahhhh brrroooo

  • fucking waste of a game

  • what the fuck

  • This is ridiculous!!!

  • why didn´t they set up graphics at max lol

  • well... it looks ugly as shit anyway

  • @el3dlu This is the old Graphics engine the new one uses Cryengine2... look at the upload date fucking moron.

  • @abyssa Wooow cryengine2 yeah it looks so much better! No, seriously, shit is shit. Even if you polish it a bit. You are a bigger retard still if you like entropia.

  • Guys calm down with the trolling. This game now has Cryengine 2 and has improved 100x. Go try it out and see for yourself.

  • 0:14

man after I found out those tanks were just for show many years ago I never though we would ever actually get functioning ones.

This is a MMO that doesn't let you down with possibilities

  • This game sucks ass... i don't get how ppl wants to play this piece of shit

  • @Maltinis Because you can earn real money.

  • lol at 1:06

  • this game cant be good for you

  • haha wolf you lose 100$?that's my day deposit and when you deposit less than 100$ then is no use to deposit!!!think economical small fish...here is big lake!!

  • Yay i found the vid i remember seeing at fort zues back when i used to play PE before. Thanks for uploading. I stopped playing back around the time you put this vid up though, because i realized i had pissed out over $100 in ammo. I recently downloaded it to see the changed graphics. Looking sweet but still the main focus on this game is still to sweat and FAP endlessly. lol

  • Wow, 'the gamer' is coming to life..

  • What a joke.

  • That looks like Nintendo 64 graphics LOL

  • @wav3form Well, this video is 4 years old. We've gotten CryEngine 2 graphics now. Best looking MMO out there.

  • @IAmAVeryFatMan Untrue, try EVE Online.

  • @Wikkiter I've tried EVE Online. Hated it.

  • @IAmAVeryFatMan Fair enough, but you can't deny the graphics :P

  • @Wikkiter I'm just wondering, have you tried Entropia Universe since the VU10 Graphics Change about August or whatever 2009? Because if you haven't, i'd say you shouldn't put down EU just because of this video and not because you've not played it 'new' yet...but if u have played it recently, i guess you do have the authority to say what you want to say about the game. Your opinion is your opinion.

  • @IAmAVeryFatMan I have played it, I play both games. I'm not putting it down, but if you have seen the new avatar graphics in EVE that came in the Incursion expansion and are being built upon (3d walking avatars) in Incarna expansion this summer, you will see that I'm not kidding about the graphics. (:

  • This game KILLS wow.

  • I'm guessing most people here have played runescape? If not try that out, it's free and is similar to this, except more medieval rather than futuristic... It's free too.

  • @CodBadonde Runescape similar to this? HAHAHAHA

  • Claim housing!? HOW WHERE ON CALYPSO!??!!??!

  • 0:30, down syndrome.

  • @sharpstylez1 ROFL!

  • sad but its the future

  • Seems like it would be better than this if you have to pay so much to get stuff in the game...

  • @Tykeronia Didn't notice it was 3 years old so never mind. :D

  • This was better when it had a genuine vision of a virtual futuristic world, that was entertaining. And not just attempting to compete with Second Life.

Someone can easily pull the plug to all of this and everything people spent money is worthless then.

Perhaps in the future a virtual world may be a nice place to go, but at the moment, when you can't actually have fun being there without needing to pump money in to do just about any fun activity, makes its incredibly mundane.

  • Calypso probably had hte best story and approach but the planets theyy're adding now ruin the story. They're going to adding planet micheal jackson. End of story.

  • what a fucking pile of shit

  • What a shitty game...

Some dumb mother fucker spent $320,000 on something in that game.

  • @SniperWalrus yeah man and he's got a million back, all thanks to taxes

  • @Firetaffer The game still sucks and the fact that anything in this game is worth ANYTHING is a farce.

  • @SniperWalrus one "dumb mother fucker" sold his in game property for huge profits, i.e. $635,000... I'd never play but I can see why others would

  • @kaptainKnEJ Alright, still a horrible game, still not worth a penny of anyones money, still looks like shit.

  • hilaarious

  • woah they make it sound like peoble should give up their life for this game o.O... but hey its a good idea for a sci-fi film *cough" surrogates *cough*

  • yeah the games using the Crysis engine now, so this game is a beast when it comes to graphics

  • Um, its only a game

  • what a bullshit graphic game

  • @BMF123321 Those are the old graphics, the game looks stunning now.

  • *cough* Sold property in the game for $635000 USD *cough*

  • Shit I thought I was watching Total Recall for a minute. Wheres the chick with 3 tits?

  • @ImperaGaming

I know what CryEngine is (from Crysis series) and have a newer gaming rig, and it still looks like crap. Sorry if I'm not addicted to wasteful games that suck up your life and money. This game is equivalent to gambling.

  • This game creeps me out...it said McCormack, roll the footage...as you can tell by my username...this freaked me the f**k out

  • @david292978 this "moron" will return his money in 2 years at most, for that space station brings over $200k/year from the taxes along - it's one of the most popular mining/hunting areas in the world. And the station itself goes up in price all the time - the previous owner bought it for just $100k 5 years ago. You just can't imagine what money spins in the economics of the game and how much money players bring into it. Heck, when I recall how much I've deposited myself it makes me feel sick :D

  • some real moron actually paid 300 somthing thousand to buy real estate in the game. im talking real fuckin money here.

  • ITS F*****G AWESOME!!!!!!!! Check out my channel. Anyone who thinks different is a moron with a crap computer and no imagination. We went for a boat ride got off visited a castle then grabbed our hovercraft and climbed a mountain stopping off to kill T Rexes with long front arms. Graphics set to medium look at my boat ride!

  • @philipjamesbryan go end your self man, seriously

  • this games mad gay im just trying to make sum cash

  • The graphics sucks... I don't understand who would pay real money to play this? Other than for gambling reasons... gambleholics.

  • @jephboy You're probably an idiot, and you probably didn't notice that this vid was uploaded years ago.

Entropia Universe, with it's planets, are driven by CryEngine. It's amazing graphic that I, with my computer, will never take part of. If I ever buy a new computer, it would be because of this game - nothing else. I'm not a gamer, but this game actually is fun, especially considering the new planets that's about to launch.

  • LOL who the f.uck plays this sh.t :D:D

  • are*

  • loserville. Some guys need to get laid...

  • @charlesrydec i think you find the guys making millions off of it re. lol

  • lol

  • look like cheap design must coming from Philippines!

  • @DrYenisun it's running in CryEngine 2

  • @DrYenisun I'm from the philippines and your english is embarrassing. learn english first before you insult my country, dr. ching chang chung.

  • @pawlopascual only good coming out of philipines is boxer manny pacman

  • a game for sad sacks

  • @DrYenisun Sure... you aint the one who made $2,000 on it =D

  • @DrYenisun Yeah thats why we earn money and you suffer...

  • @LPWalkthroughsPC ha ha chicken feed in my books, but all the best anyway!

  • @DrYenisun EXPLAIN

  • @DrYenisun or people who are looking for opportunities

  • YEAH THATS RIGHT, I SAID ROBOTS

  • The catch is right there in the name: entropy. Each time you convert money to or from the game, these people take a cut.

  • Man I tried playing this, couldn't find any way of getting new weapons or ammo after the first one you get.

  • People the vid is old. Now the graphics are way better and I think it now runs on the CryEngine 2.

  • This looks like an extremely broken game.

  • IT ANT GOT SHIT ON WOW

  • ew. for real?

  • another truth is that entropia has been exploited... i made a hack that actually gives you free stuff ;) (and no, you dont have to put in your login name and stuff... those kinds of programs are scams.. look at my video in my profile for details)

  • Comment removed

  • I think there are a lot of dirty business men that would love to know about this game to launder money and make secret deals.

  • meta-capitalism is even more retarded than capitalism

  • what a completely lame game. I heard that over $500,000 were just spent on purchasing an asteroid in this game. What gets me is that the graphics and gameplay are severely outdated, yet rather than spend 50 bucks for a new open world game with new areas to explore and much better graphics and gameplay some chump that must have been dropped on the head a few too many times as a baby drops half a million dollars! wake the hell up dude, you're completely lost in an outdated fantasy world!

  • @4yearcanuck pretty sure you don't know anything about this game and that the guy who dropped $500k for a virtual item knows what he's doing, just like the guy who bought that same item for 100k four years ago and is now making a huge profit.

  • @4yearcanuck yahoo?lol i kno man. that's bullshit

  • @4yearcanuck Just to clear up, this video was released 3 years ago. It doesn't look nearly as bad as before.

  • lol terminator spoof

  • This looks like absolute shit.

  • wow this game looks boring as hell.... but that guy made a buttload of cash... grats dude!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can u "wash" drug money selling to yourself a lot of pixels??

  • should've buy a ps3 and get on ps home!

  • lol 0:29... WTF?

  • Mei-Ling?

  • "perhaps even find love"XD LMFAO

  • This advertisement isn't very convincing. What are some of the opportunities to profit? Unless they show that, I won't even consider playing this game.

  • @InfiniteUniverse88 From Yahoo! News : "The seller is Jon Jacobs, also known as the character 'Neverdie'. He originally purchased the asteroid in 2005 -- eventually converting it into the extravagant resort 'Club Neverdie' -- for the then-record price of $100,000. For those keeping score, that's a gain of over $500,000 in just five years. In nerdier terms, that's an ROI of 535%."

  • @NoShame86 I read the article too, but they didn't really go into depth. I was left with no level understanding that convinced me that I could do it too.

  • "Oh my god! Oh my god!" Double Rainbow all the way!!! All the way across the sky!

  • Are you F#(%n' Kidding me.

"The seller is Jon Jacobs, also known as the character 'Neverdie'. For those keeping score, that's a gain of over $500,000 in just five years. In nerdier terms, that's an ROI of 535%. Match that, Citibank."

  • @Feckerhead i can see you read yahoo also

  • Did i hear right? So you can make real money from playing this game? Does that mean you have to invest your own money as well?

  • @WithinReach2 Yeah, some guy just sold an asteroid for $635,000. That's real money.

  • @WithinReach2 yea...as long as you are good at trading...am just goin to wait for a while for people to develop companies and such..and then iniate ruthless take overs(hostile) etc...i have alot in store but the game needs more players like you..who will fund the building of my nice future home in the Bahamas

  • I don't get it. Hundreds of thousands of REAL dollars are being traded on this game? People are weird, I swear.

  • @YoungDueceCOM its apparently a business more then anything, you buy land and turn it into anything you want and when people visit they pay you like they would going to a hotel or theme park, then that money goes to you, but you also have to maintain the area and business so to speak. its basically real life business and real estate except virtual; since you put real money in and you POSSIBLY could gain a profit if you are good. thats what i got from the article

  • omg.

  • "i'm talking abut robots, yeah that's right i said robots. they are here and they want us dead"... oh canada

  • Did anyone else think of the double rainbow guy at 3:09?

  • ok creapiest trailer ever! I mean just wtf
