Man you can type the lyrics into itunes.
Right klick the song and go to lyrics an type it there. when you open the song on the ipod/iphone now, the lyrics will be shown there,

add the klyrics with iTunes and than you can check them out in lyricsapp while playing the song

first add lyrics in iTunes (rightclick song => info=> lyrics=>copypaste the lyrics) and than you can check the lyrics while playing the song
