@jasonvoorhees1428, It is about lines you peckerhead! THE W 124 line WAS released in 1986, but W 201, the model in the commercial, in 1982. BTW: watch?v=19fcN3VaXs4.

@jasonvoorhees1428 No, the 190E was actually brought to the USA in 1984 because my Grandparents bought a red one in 1984. They had it up until the time they croaked in 2001.
