@MyLesPaulcopy I HOPE that when your old you will constantly shit yourself and slowly start dieing in such pain that you will cry like a baby begging everyone to end your suffering.
@MyLesPaulcopy I consider myself slightly liberal. I support the right to die, but I don't support this psycho. Supporters of Dr. Sociopath are just naive fools.
@KayBeeEee1983 And why are You calling him a psycho? because he wants more actual freedom for everybody? Well i guess that If people like you had much more freedom and decided and thought for them selves then that would probably meant hell on earth.
@loskamykos He lied to the parole board. He said that he was suffering from hepatitis C and diabetes and that he had less than a year to live. His lawyer said he wasn't fit enough to walk a mile. That was in 2006. In 2008 he ran for Congress. He's probably healthier than 95% of other 80 year old men.
He videotaped the death of a guy and then dared the government to stop him, then sent the video to the media. If he wanted to help people, he would be trying to find the CURES for these diseases
@KayBeeEee1983 well he might have been in a very poor condition then and recover over time, or he simply lied to get out of jail, so what? hes not saint and everybody would lie to get the fuck out of prison.
Death of that guy was filmed and aired on tv just to explain to dumb fucks back then that he doesn't choke them to death or something like that and that its a very humane and painless way to go.
@loskamykos "so what?...everybody would lie to get the fuck out of prison"
It shows he is antisocial. I guess you would excuse prison escapes for the same reason? And bail jumpers? And people who run from the cops?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one knew who he was and the only reason he was arrested was because of that video. He'd still be helping people die. Also, he hasn't made any attempts to legalize doctor assisted suicide, right? Everything he does is just to get personal attention.
@KayBeeEee1983 Thats not anti social, hes not hurting anyone by getting hes freedom back.
And you are wrong, he got arrested because of his help in that suicide and not because of that tape. The tape was supposed to open the debate over euthanasia. He didnt do anything to legalize it? well hes fuckin running for congres isnt he? and how was he supposed to legalize it back then? alone? oh c'mon.... He did much more then TRYING to legalize it, he fuckin DID something to help those people
@loskamykos "he got arrested because of his help in that suicide and not because of that tape."
No one would've arrested him if it hadn't been for the tape. He supposedly killed 130 people without the government stepping in. Who knows how many more people he could have helped?
"hes fuckin running for congres isnt he?"
Why didn't he run for congress BEFORE getting arrested?
"how was he supposed to legalize it back then?"
There several ways. He could've run for office or talked to congressmen.
@KayBeeEee1983 "He could've run for office or talked to congressmen." The next time you see a person that need immediate help just write to your congressman instead of doing something yourself. And dont forget that there is a lot of organizations that tries to legalize euthanasia, one more man wouldn't made a difference.
@loskamykos You obviously don't understand the concept of sacrificing in the present so that you can gain more in the future.
They don't need Kevorkian's help committing suicide.
"there is a lot of organizations that tries to legalize euthanasia, one more man wouldn't made a difference."
Thank you for strengthening my argument that Kevorkian is doing virtually nothing to help the "legalize euthanasia" movement and is only euthanizing people because he wants to kill them and get on TV.
@KayBeeEee1983 "You obviously don't understand the concept of sacrificing..." - Ill bet You wouldn't say that if You would be the one being sacrificed or someone from your family. Or would it be ok with you to sit and watch someone dear to you begging for death?
"They don't need Kevorkian's help committing suicide." - They need his medical knowledge to make this painless. You know every man deserves a death with dignity.
@loskamykos I don't know this for a fact, but getting shot in the head seems pretty painless.
"Your obviously a Nazi for denying people their right to decide for themselves."
I support the right to die, asshole. It just bothers me that people see Kevorkian as a savior. He's an evil man. No one should be giving him any attention.
He shouldn't have sent the videotape of the suicide to the media. People seeking his death device had nowhere to turn to help them when he was thrown in prison
@KayBeeEee1983 "I don't know this for a fact, but getting shot in the head seems pretty painless." Yeah U check that and tell me for sure ok? Oh and is it a dignifying death? is it ok for your family to watch your brain splatted on the wall? yep thats a great way to go.... moron. "people see Kevorkian as a savior." - all family's of the people he assisted in suicide see him that way, so why shouldn't I ?
@loskamykos That's your argument? Being shot in the head isn't dignified enough? What a joke...Do you think a person with ALS cares if their death is "dignified"? You're just grasping at anything you can now because nothing you've said has any validity whatsoever. If Kevorkian actually wanted to help people, he'd be working to find treatments for these diseases. Why can't you refute the point that "People seeking his death device had nowhere to turn to help them when he was thrown in prison"?
@KayBeeEee1983 "Yeah, maybe. If she supports his decision." Well your aether cold hearted or hard headed.
"When did I say suicide (per se) was immoral?" Well You're against the man who does just that, so what am i supose to think? Or maybe You dont like him because he got caught ?
"Why did you capitalize those 'Y's?" Im not sure how it is in English grammar, but in my country's grammar you capitalize the firs letter when you want to pertain to a person, Its a meaning of respect.
@loskamykos "your aether cold hearted or hard headed."
Again, that statement helps prove that he's a psychopath. A normal person has a hard time killing someone who doesn't DESERVE to die, even if that person WANTS to die. A lot of people have no problem shooting their pet in the head when it gets rabies. That's just as cold-hearted, in my opinion.
I can be hard headed when it's regarding something I see as obvious. Kevorkian is obviously a psychopath.
@KayBeeEee1983 "If he wanted to help people, he would be trying to find the CURES for these diseases" yeah? and what about those people that are suffering now ? what just forget about them? you wouldn't think so if it were someone from your family in pain and agony... Besides when will people understand that were not immortal and will never be, the length of life isn't as much important as the quality of it.
@loskamykos "what about those people that are suffering now ? what just forget about them?"
Yeah. He'd be helping more people in the long run. And the people he helped wouldn't be dead. He'd be taking away their pain AND saving their lives, like a real doctor is supposed to do. He'd increase the length AND the quality of life. And you act like the only suicide option is his death machine. People have been killing themselves long before Kevorkian came along.
@KayBeeEee1983 Yeah.. tell that to a paralyzed guy... hey maybe hes wife would do it right? I really hope that you wont have such a tragedy in your family but i think that only then you would understand.
@KayBeeEee1983 I got a question for You, do You really believe that Your opinion on euthanasia and your so called morality is a good enough reason to keep other people alive AGAINST THEIR WILL, when they are terminally ill and suffering?
@loskamykos What do you think my opinion on euthanasia is? When did I say suicide (per se) was immoral? When did I say people should be forced to stay alive against their will? My argument is not about the right to die. You asked why I think Kevorkian is a psychopath.
I have another question for you: Why did you capitalize those 'Y's? Just curious.
@MyLesPaulcopy And he laughed at the parole board when he was let out. What a psychopath. Why won't he just fucking die already? Oh right, cuz he's satan.
This guy is a sociopath. He tells the parole board that he is ill to get out of prison. Celebrates by running for congress. Seriously, everyone who thinks Dr. Death is a good guy needs to read Dr. Robert Hare's book "Without Conscience".
Dr. Kevorkian is so intelligent, it is such a shame that he did time in jail, while those dumb money-hungry doctors are living their lives to the fullest.
FoXXX news is a propaganda machine like SeeNN controlled media to be fed to the brain dormant American public. The bias of these news agencies is blatant, they hide the FRAUD of the financial system and blind people with BS. Then they attack the last remaining thinking people who can oppose them.
I say it again, Dr Jack Kevorkian is a hero and savior for these terminally ill and suffering people, who are forced to torture by the corrupt doctors.

I would like nothing more than to find out where these FOX News bastards live and burn down every one of their houses.
@aurash91 Depression doesn't come with a terminal, unavoidable death attached. I have had depression for the last 10 years, and have often thought of suicide. But there is a way out. Through process and reason. But then again, if you're so depressed that your quality of life is utterly terrible and you no longer enjoy any aspect of life I don't see why you shouldn't be able to choose to end your sufferring, it is your right to do as you wish. Which is the majority purpose of what JK talks about.
@bsod4u2 - Such a relief to know people like you exist. And based on all the comments regarding Dr. Kevorkian, I'm beginning to think that the tide is shifting and the world is steadily moving away from religious dogma and conformist ideals. I have no doubt, as you've stated, that this is the primary reason anyone would "hate" a person like Dr. Kevorkian. They're scared to death. That's what the truth does.
Frankly speaking, if someone is suffering and they're never going to get better and their pain is such if that they move a muscle it's wave after wave of agony, then I don't think it is wrong to euthanize them if they ask for it.
It seems infinately more cruel to prolong their lives rather than let them depart it.
Religious Fanatics are behind this. They claim that God wants you to suffer for your sins & taking your own life shortens the sentence of suffering that God bestowed upon you. Does this even remotely sound sane to anyone?
So, I am sitting in the hospice center w/ my mother. My brother is there and mom is suffering. She holds my hand, I am her eldest son & she asks me 4 help getting out of this life. Now I sit and watch my mother wait 2 die as cancer eats her alive. Jack, in the future you will be hailed as a hero. No 1 should have 2 wait 2 die like this.
@TupacAShakur1 - Wow. You hit the nail on the head. Future generations will surely look back at Dr. Kevorkian being placed in jail as nothing less than man's inhumanity to man. Not only for his stance on assisted suicide but for his unyielding conviction in the truth. He's ahead of his time and so are people like you for understanding.
christanabc..... the decision wouldn't be taken out of your hands.. that's not what he's about, he's about dying when you want to and need help to do so.
Appreciate ur comments. Yes Dr. K. has stated his intent only 2 help& so far has only disobeyed the law when clients have requested this. Research in Netherlands shows euthanasia has spread where people w/ sadness who ask r being killed. People r struggling w/ $ issues when inheritance is spent on sustaining elderly people. So looking @ the future direction becomes very important when voting. Also research on pain relief is being curtailed all pointing 2 a less caring society. Thx 4 ur interest!
Why would u entrust ur vote 2 someone who does not have ur best interests @ heart? The danger is that when u r a senior, not ready 4 death.. the decision will b taken out of ur hands.
Before you post your comment, please read it over and see if it makes a goddamn bit of sense. How do you know he doesn't have my best interests at heart? Do you stalk me and record my interests? I have no idea of what you're saying in the last half of your post.
Y the hostility? The last line in my comment says that if laws r put in place 4 euthanasia we all will b left w/ no decision making power any more. When u find urself as a senior & someone else decides ur time of death is that ok w/ u? This is why ur vote matters.
Should someone who's really sick and going through a lot of suffering be forced to suffer? I don't support Dr. Kevorkian's methods 100%, but I do understand where he's coming from with some of this.
I also have compassion 4 suffering. Studies (Netherlands) prove that when our focus is on euthanasia...research into pain relieving drugs is curtailed. Easy way out is to end life rather than $ on pain management. Also distinction is drawn b/t active euthanasia (Dr.K-lethal injecting patients) or passive euthanasia (letting pt die w/ family/ loving support surrounding him/her). I understand it's a challenging issue & appreciate ur thoughfulness.
Please have the decency to refrain from using; 4, u, r, b, & ur as words when you are trying to convey a convincing argument to people of even an average intelligence.
It is insulting. It's aggravating, & when your thought makes not a damn bit of sense, it gives us a headache.
My intent was discussion rather than insults. My reasoning is intended 4 those (like urself)who can follow the arguments. This forum is not a phone conversation & is limited in typing space. Could it b u r avoiding the crux of the thoughts I've presented by focusing on my need 2 conserve character space? That's a small issue compared 2 the larger points being put 4ward here. Active/passive euthanasia & the direction our culture is choosing when we vote in this way.
