  • @BLACKINVINITY

    Is this for beginners lol

Harry seems very clued up for his first day

  • what bait are you using?

  • when i fish turners pool i float dog buiscits, i have had a 18lbs mirror using this method, and usually catch from 10-20 carp in a 6 hour session ranging from 5-20lbs.

  • 12 foot rod? what the hell?

  • @Dudgi66 Hmmm yes 12ft rod

Nearly all carp rods are 12ft you will find!!!

  • @Dudgi66 12ft is standard.

  • @CastAirLead i never seen someone using a 12ft rod yet.

  • @CastAirLead it might be in the uk but in the usa.

  • wat bait did you use?

  • On the reel for a bite to register would I have the center spool bit set to take line off and then put it back onto less line loss when I pick up the rod? If not could you please explaign what i do.

Well done on those fish. Great vid.

    thanks.

  • @MATTNATTMATT The rods have a bait runner, a switchthat once put on gives line out until you windf the handle, look it up!

  • Good vid dude look forward to watching the rest

  • way too go Harry lad!!

tis Louise hope you ok will see you soon hopefulli x

  • hi mate is there only small carp in this pool i want to fish it as i live near it

  • There are larger carp upto the 20lb mark however most of the carp are between the 3 to 5lb mark so getting the larger carp can be a bit of a task. great water for having your line pulled. Andy TheCarpZone

  • @TheCarpZone Try bigger baits if you want to get on the big ones

    Liam,

  • five stars for an ecellent fisherman !

  • size 8 i think that day

  • @TheCarpZone size 8's a bit big i normally use 12s for carp

  • Went fishing yesterday me and my dad caught about 15 carp all over 5lbs biggest was about 21lb

  • Im 13 and been fishing for 5 years now, my PB is 32lb fully scaled mirror that was only about 3 weeks ago

  • sorry harry missed it what make of rod pod are you using great videos harry keep em coming

  • Solar Sod Pod

  • i cant wait to get back out on the bank to do a bit of carp fishing.

i havent been for around 4 weeks i think, but the last carp i caught was 4lb from a lil pond, but i am hopefully going soon, cant wait.

  • good lad, nice fishing, nice set up, and u have a carp safety mat, shows you really care about the fish. keep it up.

  • Took me 12 years before my first 20 and another 5 before my first and 1 of only 3 30s. Yes the waters i fish arnt exactly packed with fish of these sizes which didnt help but it comes down to luck to. I mean ive known people fish great waters and never seem to be able to hook 20s even though someone 2 mins down the bank do, with the same set up. Great vid looking forward to watching the rest of your vids. 5*s.

  • I have been carp fishing for around 2 years and have caught hundreds of carp but it took me 80 to catch a twenty, I can also say you don't need brilliant kit to catch carp as long as you have good enough reels and a decent tc rod then you're all set, it takes a lot of practise to tie rigs but carp fishing is simple and affective if you on the right lake and in The right place, tight lines - Ross.

  • if you mean it took you about 80 carp to finally catch a 20 pounder, then its probably where you are fishing. big water means big carp. there is a small pond by where i live full of carp and the biggest one in there is probably about 5-7 lbs.

  • the best thing to learn when you first start is to learn how to use the drag when playing a fish so then when you hit a big carp you'll be better off. nice vid tho mate!

  • omg this kids a whopper lol. rod pod

  • make your rigs shorter u will get much better results

  • That all depends on the bottom lol :o) Theres lots of things to consider when making rigs long or short and the bottoms only one of them. Another example is the water colour (clear or not etc). So maybe his rig length is correct for the water and fish in it.

  • @SHUREY90

would 4 inch rigs be better or........

  • Harry, your gear looks great! And your video is even better!!! I would very much like to know how much a setup like yours costs... and where I could get it on the web... I live in the States and carp gear is so hard to come by... Thanks for the GREAT video!!! - Jeff

  • wot bait are u using here mate

  • bin there fishin its amazin iff u use luncheon meat on the waggler

  • haha ive been carping 6 years and my set up is crap compared to yours! wwell done on your first session mate aswell!!!

  • MATE that is a nice start set up..........wish my first set up was like that........i started with 1 carp rod a net from a boot far a mat for 12 pounds a small bag of boliles for 3 pounds hair rigs from ebay a set box from argos....but you build it up year by year...like now my set up is so much better and you do some good fishig
