My understanding of a freestyle, is a rap that is made up on the spot straight off the dome, not a prerehearsed performance.

Recycling old punchlines you didn't use in songs or said in other freestyles is fine, as long as it flows with the beat. But some of it should be off the dome. If you litteraly write the entire thing down before doing the freestyle, it's not a freestyle.
