@pleximanic1 I honestly cant remember. I think I ordered it from Crosman when I got the steel breech. I only use Crosman Premier Hollow Points they shoot very well.
i rea da blog where a guy did quite a few mods to his 1377. Replaced compression chamber, rings, etc. and hit 820 fps on a chrono. was pumping more than 10 btw, but the new chamber and seals can take that. obviously on a stock pistol no more than 10-11 pumps
Nice gun man I'm trying to mod my 1377c to but I don't know what u need to mount a scope if anyone knows what mounts and scopes work with this gun I'd apriciate the help
Because this is a Crosman 1377c. Its not like an air rifle is an air rifle and an air pistol is an air pistol. In other words, I didn't buy this "air pistol" to make an "air rifle". The categories pistol and rifle aren't as strict in airguns as they are in powder burning firearms.
Thank you for your quick reply. As I see it you have bought an air pistil and put a bitt on it so that you can put it to your shoulder. Then you put a scope on it, which is a rifle thing rather than a pistol thing. Is this the one that you have to pump about 10 times? So what you have is a pig-to-pump make-shift carbine. As I said, you might as well have bought a one-stroke-to-cock carbine in the first place. Or buy a rifle and cut it down.
I didn't want a spring piston rifle. I can take the grip off and fit it in a backpack. And for someone who is new to pumping a 1377c, it is hard. After you shoot it it is second nature and you don't ever realize your doing it. It is kind of uncommon to buy a 1377c, or any Crosman gun on a 17xx or 22xx platform and not modify it.
Well I just got my 1377 had one when I was A kid the breach sucked on the old one's. This one is like my 2240. Just one prob. This gun is weak compared to my modded 2240. But went to work on the valve in my 1377 and now it can go 24 pumps with out hurting it. but it has A lot of work to be done on it.
the crosman 1377 is acurate but the dasiy 880 is more accurate the air master and the 880 r close but still the 880 takes the top.i would recomend the airmaster because its a pretty tought air rifle and great for beginers and more advanced air shooters the 880 u can to take good care of but is a great gun
I don't but I have shot one with a nice scope and Premiers (never been a bb through it) And it grouped great. I have an 880 and I have to say the groups aren't that great. Although it had a leak and I'm sure it shoots with different psi each time. But I fixed it. Crosman has better quality control and leaking Crosmans are unheard of.
I would like to mod mine. But I cant seem to find anything but the clamp on scope mounts and red dot scopes. Mine is ok out the box. But hits High & right, I cant adjust the sights any further. So I have to adjust my aim.
You must have a bent barrel. Or a really bad crown. Check the crown and see if it is okay. If it is okay then I would say the barrel is bent. I cant think of anything else. If you can, take it back to where you got it and get a new one. If you cant just e mail Crosman and ask for a diagram and then order another barrel. I dont think they are much more than 20 dollars if that.
The breech isnt on straight, its not a bent barrel. I had this with mine, all you do is take out that screw that lets you adjust your sights windage, that should give you some play on the breech and adjust it to the left or right and put the screw back on. Theres another screw you can loosen that hold the breech in place but for me this was enough to fix it. Hit a silver dollar at 120ft with peeps sights, its shooting straight now.
kjaerjakcajk, Thanks for the info. Someone else told me the same exact thing that you did. So I went ahead and straightened the plastic breech and Im on the money now. I took out a mourning dove with it @ 35 yds out. Cool!
I swear that was the only place to get it. I went back and looked (they re designed their site like 5 times since I got it) I couldnt find it. Their site is not very user friendly or straight foward lol. I'm still looking and I will write back if I come up with it.
hey... cool video.. i also have a 1377 .. i want to put a scope... But it does not have an adapter on it... where did you get it and how much is it... thanks
the reason people like watching you shoot the groups is so we can see you actually make the shots lol

Nice custom. Where did you get the trigger shoe? Also, what pellets you like for target shooting. Or what pellets are not good?

I love mine but want a bit more power from it.
MrMusclefish 1 year ago
@MrMusclefish Yeah it is kind of a pea shooter but it makes up for power with accuracy. It'll drop a squirrel as fast as my .22 Disco.
phgHunter 1 year ago
@phgHunter I'm going to go for a few squirrels this week :))

Where did you get that trigger from? Did installing the new spring make it easier to pull?

Rather than all these modifications and bolt-ons why don't you do the job properly and get an air rifle?

pHgHunter would you say that the crosman 1377 c is more accurate than the daisy 880 or the crosman 2100 aka remington airmaster 77?

how far away were you from your targets, were you less than 23 yards?

i can buy the extention for you shoulder for 30 euros should i buy it ?
how much did you pay for it
erdal0 2 years ago
I payed 25 U.S. Dollars for it. If you use open sights I dont reccomend it because the rear is too close.
phgHunter 2 years ago
i use a red dot sight..
erdal0 2 years ago
You will be fine then.
phgHunter 2 years ago
should i also buy a scope or stick with red dot. isnt scope not good for this gun because its close-mid range gun
erdal0 2 years ago
I would rather have a scope because its a bit more exact than a red dot. If you dont want to buy the steel breach then dont buy a scope.

Well, simple is usually better. I reccomend CPHP's. Although Ultra Magnums are a good choice to.
phgHunter 3 years ago
I just hold it by the pistol grips. It gets easyer after a while. Lol, you should have seen my 24 year old brother trying to get it past 2 pumps.
phgHunter 3 years ago
Im not sure why. Lol I lost count of how many times I pinched my fingers.

You have to adjust them.

Thanks for watching. I was about 35 feet away. I like heavy pellets.
phgHunter 3 years ago
ismit strong enough to kill squirrels and rabbits?
blowgunking1994 3 years ago
If you can hit them in the right part of the head.
phgHunter 3 years ago
so brand new it the box, is the trigger stiff?
blowgunking1994 3 years ago
It has a nice break and is crisp but it is a little to heavy for my taste. I also reccomend a trigger shoe cus the trigger is a bit thin.
phgHunter 3 years ago
Like your 1377 ;-)
Feel free to check mine.
