  • All of you who say the 3GS isn't free. F- off they are free with a 2 year contract.

  • This phone isn't free now. They don't even sell it. The iPhone after this, the 3GS is free.

  • @t3hggt0m iphone 3gs is not free

  • @t3hggt0m 30 bucks at AT&T

  • Since when was Hong Kong a country? At least recently that is...

  • @Ishcoa It's a "special administrative region" of China. It's basically a small country within a country.

  • @Jonmad17

Interesting, I knew that it used to be a country under the British empire, but I thought that they recently just merged with China.

  • To think this phone is free now...

  • FUUUUUUU only 399 dolar?

fuck in my country iphone 3g still 250 dollar D:

  • @hakanefe43 where do you live?

  • @Gscxel Turkey..

  • So basically he just told them that the previous year he sold them an overpriced piece of shit and they're all cheering.

  • who peestandingup? oh, wait...

  • Wow singtel logo

  • @WorzBila i was like 'wow' too when i saw the singtel logo xD

  • LMAO, china got left out even thought they make the phones.

  • @iamterence77 They didn't have Apple stores in China Back then.

  • Steve Jobs should do a Pixar-type price thing. The 49 is bouncing and jumps on the $199 price for the iPhone 4. Same exact look as Pixar lamp.

  • He didn't say anything about Africa

  • I see SingTel! Yipee!

  • why the hell is T-mobile the only seller of iphones in germany although vodavone and O2 really big here? this keynote was in 2008 and in oktober 2010 vodavone and O2 got the yes to sell iphones too.why did that take that long??

  • I love how people are commenting on the price. The reason it's listed low for the states is because you can only get it with ATT, so they quote contract prices.

Go to your carriers and ask for one, you won't be paying more than $199US.

Hell, my 3G was free upfront on contract with Optus in Australia back in 08.

The 4 I got was free overall, didnt even have to put any of my contact toward it. :P

  • Steve Jobs The Iphone In New Zealand is 1 Grand Yeah -_- Not 199..

  • @pandakills1 thats because NZ is a fucking rip-off. Leave when you can, I dont regret it.

  • @SuperOggaBogga Even though Nz's prices are high its still a wonderful place to live in and I wouldn't wana move any time soon.

  • @pandakills1 Correction - Its a wonderful place to visit/holiday. Wages are low, taxes are high, food and housing are expensive compared to incomes.

  • I bet jobs was the hugest brat as a kid

  • @josedude8 he was adopted, and was relatively poor

  • YOU IDIOTS!!! HE MEANT IN US DOLLARS!

  • 3G is up to $1000 in Georgia so the last statement is a lie. sorry, Steve

  • @monalit666

Thats cuz its $199 with the contract, pay as you go it is about a $1000 cuz here in the uk its £500

  • Here in Brazil the iPhone costs $1000

  • July 11! one day after my b-day LOL

  • 1:02 t-mobile? i though the iphone was only on at&t in the states

  • @supermanxevan

    t-mobile is in Germany

  • @supermanxevan T-Mobile Germany, not in the United States

  • @supermanxevan T-Mobile is available in other countries

  • @supermanxevan Plus you can use jailbreaking and then put in a US T-Mobile card :D. But yeah in Germany it's on T-Mobile.

  • in australia its over $700 for the 3g

  • And AFRICA??

  • 0:53 I can't see Hong Kong

  • @b1e6n8 look at 3:13

  • @d1995a3 haha

  • Price is bullshit. Outside the US you still need to pay a fortune for it! In Sweden for example, without monthly fee, the 8 gb version still costs equal to 720 $. That's right. So unless you're really rich, iPhone crazy or spoiled, it's out of the question here! Talk about shitty price. I am so getting an Android before an iPhone!

  • ahh I remember July 11th 2008... I stood in line for 6 1/2 hours and it was well worth it.

  • I think he means a maximum of 199 for the phone, and then the contract cost will be added.

  • I payed my iPhone 3g €499 in italy...

  • how come the iphone 3g is 719 australian dollers then......

  • iPhone 3G now costs 99$ at the online apple store.

  • and if you want to test the refurbished waters, they are $49 for the 8GB, $99 for 16GB, black or white

  • It's $99 everywhere, on a 3 year contract though

  • @suxatguitar1 ;p thats beacsue iphone 3gs is out :D

  • I know, I was replying to someone else.

  • oh. soz then :D

  • really?LOLLLLL

  • this guy is a lie,he said the iphone 3g is $200,but when i came out to buy one,it was $700 without contract -_-,fuk apple.

  • i payed $900 for my iphone ( ending contract price was like $600 ) sad.

  • Um, it is common sense of any company to charge more for a phone without a contract; they can charge less for contract phones simply because they know they will be receving monthly payments at a consistent rate.

  • Also, I didn't know you could EVER get iPhone in the US without a contract? If you payed for an unlocked iPhone, then that $700 price isn't what Apple sets; it would be the price set by the company/person you bought it from.

  • The Price is FAke It sells HKD$5400

  • wut da fuk is HKD?

In Canada it costs $199CAD, but obviously with contract (they don't even sell them without contract).

  • Hong Kong Dollar

  • in hong kong its without the contract that why u pay the full price

  • The price is complete bullshit! Atleast in Sweden.

  • agree in sweden you get all locked up no way to buy it without a contract bullshit

  • the U.K is a big rip off its $199 in america and in the U.K its £350.55

  • $199 omg in uk its £400 that coast $600

  • You are comparing a US contract to a UK upfront outright buying the iphone. That is cheaper then the US

  • Yay Sweden is one of the big countries!

  • I would die for this men

  • u didn´t undersand my comment faggot, you must know the story behind this men & i wrote that ´cause he is gonna do something important before die, nothing related with apple or something but trust me, he will

  • ur the fag

  • im gona wait till its $149 or $99

  • yeah

  • by then G4 would be out, in fact G4 could be out this year or next year.

  • Yes, I´m coming from Germany and T-Mobile sells the iPhone 3G here.

  • why is tmobile on the list if the iphone only works with tmobile when jailbroken?

  • It's T-Mobile in Europe, which is where T-Mobile started (As Deutsche Telekom)

  • the iphone is only avalible on plans in australia, i've did some calculations and it would cost over 1000 bucks for me for 2 years!

  • It's not cheap in the UK, 342.50 for the 8 gig

  • Yea my dad will buy one for me from russia im so happy ... I LOVE THIS MAN

  • darn it there's no Verizon

  • i see tmobile on the list of carriers but i don't see a tmobile iphone yet. only if you jailbreak it

  • T-Mobile UK

  • No, UK is O2, T-Mobile for Germany or something

  • you mean unlock, but whatever, I get your point.

  • 7.11.2008 Iphone has come to Croatia

  • LOL the iPhone is $200 now.

  • well, in the netherlands where i live it's

    499,99.

    that sucks

  • im lucky to live in california. where he lives too.

  • hmm the iphone is coming here in russia
