Shit. I think I got started into gaming by first playing Pokemon on the fucking Gameboy Advance. Then I moved onto the original Xbox and played Halo 2.

That was my first online multiplayer experience to. Bungie realeased the best 2 games for the original Xbox. Halo 2 personally my favorite. But I have a PS3 now. And I got Crysis 2, Killzone 3 and will be getting MW3 and Battlefield 3.

Oh I forgot to mention my favorite game is FInal Fantasy 7 (if you can't tell by the username) When it came out it was my favorite and since then there were so many other good game releases but nothing that felt so revolutionary and memorable as FF7 did for me. That's why to this day I call it my favorite game even if I enjoy modern games a lot.

I can't recall what originally started me in video games since it was so long ago, but my first console with the Nintendo and I used to play the Mario games and Zelda all the time. I remember exactly what you mean about the pokemon age it was the best. I had the cards but I never really played the card game itself that often. The funky thing is pokemon is still around and they still air new episodes to this day, over 12 years later.
