flash has precise measurements for his keyboard and mouse positions as he said in an interview before. he brings a ruler to insure that his setup in the progaming booth is optimum and exactly the same as his practice environment.

i'm surprised he pulled it out during game though lol. i'd expect him to make sure his play environment was fine before game started.

@ppshchik true. But at the same time I feel like they aren't switching because of high expectations. Flash/Jaedong would be the center of the whole sc2 universe if they switched. If they switch and don't do as well then there ganna lose a lot of face. And I don't think sc2 is n00b. Sc1 was even more n00b right when it came out. Reaver drops pwning the world. Spawing pool costing 150 etc etc.

He uses the ruler to ensure that the setup of his computer and keyboard, especially the distance to eachother, is similar to his practise setup so he can play in more comfort so to speak :)

@tofusauce I think that the point of the ruler is to define which mineral pile is closer to his Command Center for faster mining earlier in the game...but that's only an assumption. Otherwise I've got no clue what you'd use that ruler for in SC.

because, +1 all-in mutas can kill a terran if he is expecting the zerg to transition into lurkers,

For example, instead of making 4-5 barracks, a terran would most likely go 3 barracks into factory/starport to defend/attack against lrukers and if he doesnt have control to defend vs mutas, a zerg can hence all-in mutas to kill a terran, but not in this game because flash saw taht the zerg had no D, and was prepared to make 20 + turrets combined in main + natural
