.... u need to hammer-on. listen to it a bit more and u hear jimmy page has at least half of the solo as hammer-ons. If u need to, just get an overdrive pedal or like a squier mini amp with overdrive they help u hammer-on a lot.

i suggest the you work on your right hand technique by not "bunching up" on the pick. two fingers is all it takes. having an anchor with the rest of your fingers is hard to get used to, but trust me, it makes things easier in the future. keep playing mate!
