No, you've clearly misinterpret what he means with those words. If you look at it how much space are used for animal rights news there's almost none. Only the funny or cute stories are being told through the main media corporations. If you don't believe it take a look and you'll find the answer. Youtube are indeed an type of media but it ain't main stream since what's being told here ain't told for the majority of people.
