''J Hukm maneya hove parvan taan khasme ka mehl paye see"

Sikhi is game of love and total submission to Guru or God

i m fully agree with Baba ji or Singh Sahib ji

5 Ks are identity of Khalsa army ,Created by the wish of Timeless One

,as other armies of world have different identities .

If you dont like or want this identity , Go to hell

You are failed in sikhi , You can't never be a sikh (Dhake kha)

who is questioning on his Guru the God !

  • Kabir Ji says in gurbani that keeping your hair or shaving it off, makes no difference - you have to cut off your bad deeds.

Guru Granth Sahib ji says that NAAM is the HUKAM - (not keeping externals) - EKO NAAM HUKAM HA. and Guru gobind Singh Ji said follow Guru Granth Sahib ji. so which defintion of Hukam are you going to believe - what the preacher is saying in the video that HAIR is the HUKAM, or your Gurubani Guru, that NAAM is the HUKAM?

  • @preeto304 Yes, thats true that naam simran is of utmost importance. But then again there is also the importance of rehat. 'rehat pyari muj ko, sikh pyara nahe' - the rehat is more beloved than the sikh(guru gobind singh ji)....There are also writings called rehatnamay - meaning the codes of conduct. they have been worte by gurmukhs such as bhia daya singh ji and bhai nand lal jee. These we must also follow.

  • @preeto304 If we are to become a sikh of guru gobind singh by taking amrit we must keep our hair. This is clearly stated in the khalsa rehat maryada that is a minimum standard set by the akal takht - the highest authority for the sikhs. Bani also mentions taking amrit. So if you go to any amrit sanchar and take amirt then they will clearly tell you not to cut your hair.

  • @preeto304 Preeto ji, Kabir is not talking about Sikh community as we see today. Kabir implies that human life is primarily a spiritual pursuit and it extends beyond injunctions of a community. People from non-Sikh community might trim their hair or shave them off but are equally eligible to benefit from Sri Guru Granth Sahib's blessings. Guru Dashmesh ji formed Sikh community by Waaheguru's hukam (aagya bhayi akaal ki tabai chalaayo panth) and ordered five K's as fundamental physical identity.

  • @preeto304 contd. If you don't have five K's, you don't belong to Sikh community. It is as simple as that. But that does not imply that you are not eligible to blessing of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji or Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. In this way, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji and Kabir are not contradicting each other. Gurbani belongs to all but Sikh community has special responsibility to carry on Guruji's legacy onto future generations. It is this special responsibility that requires a Sikh to keep 5 K's.

  • @preeto304 It is not about integrity of hair only. It is about integrity of five K's. Kesh, Kadaa, Kripaan, Kanghi and Kachhaa.

  • Please, kind ly any punjabi can translate the answer to english ?

  • This is his busy time of the year up at the north pole

  • this is not to insult but simply for knowledge, they are not allowed to cut pubic hair either?

  • @tannu6lovelife No. All hair on all of the body should not be removed

  • @gurpalsingh6 thanks!

  • what about sikh females ? They also never remove their hair ?

  • @MyJonathan9999 Yes, sikh females also should keep all hair uncut.

  • What Bhai Sahib is saying is also true but it is just the philosophical meaning of hairs. There is also a biological and Yogic/Energetic meaning of hairs. The hairs are protecting our thenth Gate ( 7th chakra). Uncut Hairs are a source energy. If you cut hairs you reduce enregy in you re body. They absorb energy and give it to you and even change chemistry in body and brain in positive way.

  • @510masterofdisaster lol which world u living in majority keep their kesh do u know what we did to keep our identitiy intact search

matidas, sati das, taru singh, shabeg singh, shebaz singh, banda singh bahadur, jujar singh fateh singh, zorawar singh, ajit singh and othe countless sacrifices trying to convert us but khalsa will prevail thats why we exsist

  • Respond to this video... It's not promoted by Sikhism to kill someone. Clearly the purpose of kirpan is to promote ahimnsa, non-violence by aiding those that are helpless. If you need any more information then do not hesitate to contact gurpalsingh6 or me. We will be more than happy to provide you with information about Sikhism.

  • @sayyid14 The part that we cut from nails is dead, however its been scientifically proven that hair are living and moreover they vibrate therefore they enhance our meditation. The "small knife" you're referring to is a 'kirpan' and has a purpose for defence and shows our commitment and loyalty to our tenth master. It reminds us that we should always protect the weak from tyranny and slavery. Literally, the word kirpan = kirpa + aan where kirpa is compassion and aan is honour.

  • ohh now i know
